Good air movement, but blades warped and got brittle over time
I bought one of these in summer 2015 and it worked without bugs for 4 years, at which time one of the blades warped and hit the rear frame, making a clicking noise at startup until centrifugal force straightened it out.
That was OK for awhile, but by the next summer (2020) the plastic was very brittle and the blades snapped almost like potato chips when touched. Bad batch of plastic or typical? I'll probably just buy a new blade to not waste a working motor.
I recommend it because it didn't cost much and the sound isn't unpleasant.

Fragile
I noticed one blade cracked and broken within 30 days. The only possible trigger I could think of was it fell down to carpet floor once.

Quick to install and reasonably quiet. We installed 10 of these in our barn. The stalls are 12'x24' and they move the air great. There's a "hum" when they are running, but it's not near what I had expected when they are all turned on.

Blows over backwards when on high speed
I cannot believe that this fan got so many good reviews. When I plugged it in and turned it to high, it immediately blew over backwards. I was able to fashion a rotating brace which I attached to the bottom after taking off the rear screen and drilling a hole, but don't feel that I should have had to do this. I will keep it as it will suffice for my needs and the price was right, but it was sure not designed very well.

The fan is definitely effective, but can be a bit loud at time depending upon the surface it's placed on. On the floor I didn't notice much in the way of noise, but on a table it can be an issue. Overall a good fan if you're looking to save some money by not using your AC (or cooler) all the time.

While this fan does a good job of moving air, and is about as loud as you'd expect, it will not stay in place. I have hardwood floors which are from 1950 and so they aren't perfectly even or level, but are very smooth since we had them professionally re-done when we moved in.
I installed the "slip-resistant" plastic feet (see attached photo) and they most certainly are not slip-resistant. They are hard, smooth plastic, and the fan has enough vibration on any setting that it just jitters all over the floor. At one point it found itself over against a wall, and start vibrating against that making noise. I temporarily stopped all this by placing some cheap adhesive weatherstripping to the feet (front and back), but after about an hour it must've made the unit off balance since it start wobbling on any speed. I remove the stripping but then it was back to sliding all over the floor again.
All they need to do is put a coating of rubber on the front, thin plastic feet, and on the contact patch of the rear feet (for which I'd gladly pay an extra $5 on the price) and this fan wouldn't move on any surface. Also, the steel frame is so thin that if the fan is on a slightly uneven surface, it starts to wobble (the frame itself.) Even more so on higher speeds to the point where it seemed like it might tip itself over.
If you have carpet, or plan to use a window to hold it in place on a sill, you'd probably be fine, and I'm sure it would work great for the price. However, DO NOT buy this if you intend to use it on a hard surface, or it won't stay still and may risk tipping over (which I've seen in other reviews can snap off the blades if it falls hard enough.) The materials all just seem super thin and cheap to save on cost, whereas box fans I remember using growing up (80's) were of thicker steel around the case, and heavier-duty.

I rated this product excellent based on price and performance. I am certain there are better box fans on the market but when price is a factor this product is unbeatable. It does everything I want, I use it a component of a filter system. I put a 20 inch filter on the back of the fan, turn it on and I have a good filter for my house.

Good quality fan
I bought this fan to replace a similar one of a different brand that broke after it was knocked over (still not sure why that would have caused it to not work anymore). The layout of my apartment is such that a lot of dead air gets stuck in areas further away from the windows so having a box fan is the only effective way to push air around. I ordered this fan online on Monday and it came on Wednesday! Very prompt and no hassle whatsoever (the package tracking worked very well). It's not the quietest fan although not so bad on the lowest setting, which creates plenty of airflow. On the highest setting it could remind you of a small airplane, but for my purposes there's no need to go to that setting anyway so all is good. It's a product of excellent value.

Fan is a great value!!!
1st things 1st....I have purchased 10 of these box fans over the last 2 years. I would recommend this fan for the Price and as long as they stay on the ground they are great. Although if you give this fan to a person(employee) and it falls off a table or a trash can(somwhere between 28" and 40" off the ground) the blades on the inside of the safty grate break off at the seam like a rotten twing. In the buniness we refer to this as "U.E." or "User Error." sooooo, other than that, these are great fans for moving air. Enjoy. I have seen this happen twice now. I need to switch to another type of fan.

Long Lasting Value
This 20 inch box fan is light weight and durable. I have used for over a year now and it still works perfectly. Also nice is it still looks brand new even though I leave it outside most of the time in Southeast Florida where the salt air usually makes everything rust in no time. For the value price of this fan, you can't beat it. I do have heavier duty fans when I need to move a lot of air, but this light weight, portable fan is just right when you just want to move some air. We use it a lot out by the pool and spa just to add some additional air movement to the ceiling fans. And it is so quiet that we often forget to turn it off when we come in. Everyone should have one of these box fans for general use. It also fits nicely in an open window to help blow a breeze through the house when it isn't 95 degrees outside. Excellent buy for the money.

This item works well and seems to be durable for the price.
This box fan does everything I want for a very good price. It moves air nicely and has held up well, even after it tumbled off a counter.

Best value for the price.
No assembly needed. You just pull it out of the box and start using it. I needed it for a DIY HEPA air purifier project. I mounted the 20x20x1 HEPA filter to the fan and it was done.

Great value
It's a box fan. It does what it's supposed to do. I purchased from home depot online because they had the best price and free shipping. You really can't go wrong with those two factors.
