We have had this fridge for a a little over a year now, still working like day one! Food stays fresh much longer, does not take nearly as long to cool new things (putting warm soda in). Alot of space, the freezer on our old one was full and didn't even fill this one half way. Couldn't be happier with our decision. We had to take a cabinet down to get this to fit, Cabinet had to be slimmed down. But we knew this going in. Wait for it to go on sale though, paid just a hair over 2k with tax.

Love this refrigerator. It has great features, particularly the 4 drawers.

We received the fridge as promised by the delivery service, however, within minutes of plugging in the unit - it completely failed - no lights, no power, nothing. Both motherboards had to be replaced which took another week. Since then the unit has worked as promised - though I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop. - Bad start to our relationship It is too soon to recommend this unit with a clear conscience We'll see how it goes from here. Otherwise we like the unit - it is very large for a small space. The freezer storage will take some getting used to since we are transitioning from a side-by-side - but it seems roomy. The ice maker produces cute little ice cubes, just not very many of them, so using the ice bin in the freezer compartment is a must. We like the drawers and bin separations as well as the ability to individually control humidity & temperature

Planned obsolescence is a business strategy in which the obsolescence (the process of becoming obsolete, that is, unfashionable or no longer usable) of a product is planned and built into it from its conception, by the manufacturer. Failed around a year after warranty. Refrigerators lasting >20 years will no longer happen. Some of my first fridges were hand-me-downs 20-30 years old. You pay a lot of money for something that doesn't last.

refrigerator is not working properly,L.G.mechanic came twice to fix it,but still problem of refrigerator section where food gets frozen.We have been waiting for L.G. Service person,we did not leave the house.Food is spoiling a lot. When refrigerator section was not getting cold,mechanic checked few things and said he will replace damper,which he did in next visit.Now top refrigerator section is freezing food. wasting food and time. Urgent service is needed to fix or replace with new refrigerator asap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the refrigerator for over ten years with never a hitch. Recently, no longer made ice. Called LG, had the unit serviced and I am sure I will be good for another ten years.

Had this refrigerator for 4 years, it seems it was made to last 3 years before you need to purchase parts to repair it, which will only last 6 months if you are lucky, or you are forced to purchase a new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is wonderful. Plenty of storage. Two freezer drawers are very handy because everything is not piled on top of everything else. The refrigerator is very deep and holds a lot of stuff. All the drawers keep things separated and organized. Only "flaws" I have noticed is I can't dispense ice and water at the same time. Each has to be done separately. And the light in the refrigerator is a little bright.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE BOUGHT THIS SEVERAL YEARS AGO AND NOT A PROBLEM YET. EVERY REPAIRMAN THAT HAS COME IN HAS STOPPED AT IT AND COMPLIMENTED THE UNIT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this fridge. The temperature gauges are right! All my deli, dairy, greens and prepared foods have special temperature draws. The freezer is great with Square storage bins and Te two draws give me quick foods (breakfast sandwiches, nuggets, etc.) and raw foods separate spacing. However, after family use for over a year I have a few comments. The ice production is low, even with the fast button, so you will need to stock ice. The company has provided a tray for this, but it should have a cover. I end up using Ziplock bags. I would also like a built in egg draw which can hold eighteen eggs. It would fit very nicely on the same side as the ice maker and provide extra shelf space. They have upgraded this model to include a quick door for daily items. Buy That One! I would have, but it was not out when I got mine and the kids are always grabbing milk and snacks. It would resolve the open door syndrome.

We ordered this product on a Saturday and it was delivered with no problems on a Wednesday. The ice maker was not working. We called LG to get a service technician. After my husband took off work, he came and "fixed" the ice maker. Within 24 hours it was STILL not working. We called back the next Saturday and they could not send anyone until Monday (another day to take off work). So it has been a week and STILL no ice (which was the main reason we bought a new unit.) LG customer service was NOT helpful at all. Basically nothing to do except wait until Monday or return to the store. Home Depot is not the problem- it is LG. I will NEVER buy LG again.

The refrigerator seems to work well. We have had for only a couple of weeks, but it seems to perform as promoted.

I am having the 3rd replacement delivered Wednesday.First one came in with waves in the stainless, 2nd with doors handles that didn't line up hoping for 3rd's a charm. Both the delivery company and LG have been fantastic to work with. I have been using the refrigerator in the meantime and I'm loving it. Plenty of space. Ice cubes on the smaller size but plenty of them. Water dispenser area has enough room for a tall glass. Can't find anything I don't like about the refrigerator. Once these minor flaws are taken care of I would give the quality a five star rating.

Love my new frig. Wanted a larger one, but my space wouldn't allow it. Love the Ice and Water feature, love the pull out drawer in the freezer. Would recommend this french door frig. for anyone!

This is my first fridge w/ a water/ice dispenser and although it's very convenient to have the water hook up, the ice produces so slowly that it's becomes frustrating. I always have the option on the front set to produce faster, but the tray is so small and the container holding the ice isn't that big either. If I had to buy again, it would be a fridge that produced more ice. It doesn't accommodate a family of 7 trying to get drinks at the same time. The fridge itself is nice. I love the drawers. I think I need a bigger kitchen...for a bigger fridge! It's a great appliance, aside from the slow ice maker. :)

It will not quit vibrating and makes a terrible noise. You can move the levelers and it will quit for an hour and then it starts vibrating again. I have always been a fan of whirlpool but thought I would give LG a try. Big mistake. I will be giving their service team a chance to come out and fix it. If it is not fixed it will look great in the garage.
