[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very large, well distributed refrigerator. Shelving is very flexible and quick-drop shelf is great for adding tall items. Lots of door storage (thanks to not having to fit an ice maker in the door). The fridge is also very brightly lit. The freezer is easy to open and is pretty spacious, but may not be enough for a family that fills the fridge. We happen to have a chest freezer also, so it's plenty for us to have freezer items handy. For me, the size of the fridge was more important than the freezer.

Now "they just do that" so apparently the "new ones" just aren't made to make sufficient ice. It is also loud, makes noise you can hear over the TV in the next room. Most expensive refrigerator I have ever owned, and is the worst I have owned.

Bought this refrigerator less than one year ago. Ice maker starting making loud clacking sound about 2 weeks ago. Repair man came and waiting on parts to fix ice maker. The entire refrigerator just stopped working yesterday. Called LG and don't know when it will get fixed. Lucky it broke 3 days before warranty expires.

We've had this LG refrigerator for about a year now and we are happy with it. It is very large, it has bright internal lighting and has smooth drawers. We prefer not having the ice maker in the door so we can have the extra space. I do want to mention that after about 8 months we had a fan die but LG replaced it quickly at no charge since it was still under the warranty. I was a little surprised that the repairman mentioned that he has seen this fan go bad many times before in the LG's. So you might want to consider the extended warranty, as I did. Some other refrigerator manufacturers offer a fingerprint resistant stainless steel surface that I wish this model had, but we are still glad we bought this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased November 2015. One month later the refrigerator had failed (though the freezer still worked). The evaporator motor and thermostat were replaced with updated versions. The repairman said this was a manufacturing defect for this model. We had to keep putting ice in the refrigerator until the parts arrived a week later. After the repair I have heard loud sounds on occasion, the latest a loud and long (more than a minute) grinding sound. I may have to get an extended warranty because I doubt the quality of this refrigerator. Also it is not easy to keep clean the stainless steel doors.

Huge inside! Giant ice bin! Drawers glide easily. Tons of space without ice and water in the door. Super quiet. Delivery and ordering went perfectly! Home Depot had the new fridge to us in less than a week!

I have had the refrigerator for a few weeks now. It is quiet with lots of room, with a family with kids can fit in many milk and juice bottles in both side of door. it is beautiful to look at. I love it.

We didn't want ice in the door. Scooping is fine, ice makers take a lot of refrigerator space, and our friends' are all broken. We have a family of six who cook from scratch and eat at home a lot. We don't need too big a freezer. The description met our needs, and the product met the description. It did the job for 39 at Thanksgiving dinner, and we forgive it for not keeping up with that much ice making.

Closing the left side door, when the right side is closed, causes enough of an air pressure to slightly pop open the right side door. and it never closes :-( I increased the tilt of the fridge, to no avail. You have to remember to shove the right side door close, or else, as we found out, all the food will spoil, and the refrigerator will continuously run, accelerating global warming :-(

We purchased this energy efficient fridge to gain more space but also to lower our electric bill. Love the product.

I love the sleek look of this fridge! I specifically wanted a fridge without an ice/water dispenser. The only problem is it sometimes makes a huge banging noise. Not sure what it is since the water line is not even hooked up to make ice, other than that, it's a great fridge.

This is our first LG appliance and we are very pleased so far with our purchase. We did not want to lose inside door space having an external ice and water dispenser. The shelves on the door hold quite a lot and there is a small, narrow shelf on both doors for smaller jars. The adjustable and pull out shelves allow easy access to everything.The freezer has a very large ice bin and the 2 drawers allow you to reach the items that are used most without having to open 1 large drawer.

I have had the refrigerator for a few weeks now. I am very impressed with it. It is quiet, and beautiful to look at. The is a tremendous amount of space to store things-I was able to discard a freezer stored in my garage, because with the new frig-I didn't need it. You will love it, too.

We wanted a big refrigerator. We did not need the water or ice in the door.. We needed room inside. We got that with this unit. Got it thru my 30" door opening..

Beautiful unit - larger than advertised but made it fit. Able to replace small chest freezer and beer cooler in garage; seeing savings in electric bill already. Loudest part of unit is the sound of the gas moving through the system - very quite. Inside is adaptable for all our needs; filters are very efficient; lighting is impressive. Very pleased so far.

This refrigerator is BIG. I could fit all of my old refrigerator's stuff (18 cu ft) into the doors and the crispers with nothing in the main part of the refrigerator. Almost all of the door shelves are gallon jug deep. It's vey quiet. When I first got it I thought it wan't working properly because it was so quiet. You can barely hear the compressor even when there are no other sounds in the background. Bright LED lighting in the refrigerator and freezer. The freezer drawer has an easy-open handle so you don't have to pull on it hard to get it out. Cons: not much. It doesn't make ice very fast even on the faster setting, but that isn't a problem for me. The front is non-magnetic but the sides are, so I had to switch my magnets to the sides. As with all stainless steel finishes it shows fingerprints but I was able to improve that significantly with a polish like Kleen-n-Shine. Overall I'm really pleased with this big box.

Beats all my expectations. So much more room than my 15 year old refrigerator. I love the way it's setup and it has so much room to spare. Love it!

My husband and I were looking for a french door refrigerator and fell in love with this model. It is the right size for kitchen that we have. Love the look of the product which helped to modernize our kitchen.

Our old LG fridge finally had to be replaced. This LG has many additional features that were not present in our old one. These include being able to turn off the door open alarm, draws are more stable in the freezer section and easy to clean.

Really enjoy using it. Organized , roomy and has added a beautiful feature to the kitchen!

This refrigerator is great - the upper section is easily organized. The ice is the perfect size. The freezer has a separate rollout drawer which is nice for organizing foods. The only issue is the constant fingerprints on the doors, but a problem with all stainless steel appliances.

This is by far the best fridge I have ever had. I love the ease of being able to see everything so well. First time for me having the freezer on the bottom and it is fantastic. The only reason I took one star off for features is I wish it would have had built in filter for ice maker.
