I stained door with special walnut stain color. Door is beautiful. Hopefully it will stay that for long time. It was very hard to install. Hard to level frame, so I give 4 starts.

We love these Krosswood knotty alder doors. They are very nicely made, and need very little preparation before staining. We have used several of these doors already. These last three will complete the changing of all the cheaper hollow core doors the home was built with.

We have several of these doors already. Our latest purchase was to enable the completion of the changing of all the interior doors in the home. The knotty alder always brings favorable comments. Staining and finishing them takes a little time and ends up with very impressive appearance.

The door looked beautiful when installed. But, less than a year later the glued pieces began to separate. Still waiting to hear from company on how to fix this.

Over all the door was in good shape had some scuffing and indentations in both the door and the jamb that required some attention before I could finish them. Confused as to why they would ship it with zero protection I’ve had to return several of these doors in the past due to shipping damage but hey it’s their money.

The quality of workmanship on these doors is not very good. These are stain quality doors and many have issues around the doorknob with chips. One of the doors I received had filler all around the knob. Unfortunately, I've started using them and since I want them to match, I will just have to deal with it. I'm already planning on returning one of them. When I spoke with the company after installation of the first couple, they assured me that it was just a one off issue. Not so sure about that.

This is the most beautiful door. Once I put the polyurethane on it, I've been very pleased with the look of it. The door handles are glass looking, which in my opinion makes it look very expensive and classy.

This door is excellent . The only complaint I had was it wasn't clear coated, other wise this was what I wanted, and looks great installed. I would recommend this to everyone.

This door is gorgeous. Once its had a clear coat put on unfinished door it is gorgeous and with the knot Mark's it's what I wanted. If you like wood grained doors this is the one.

Beautiful workmanship for doors straight from store. Once stained they look amazing.

The door is now one of the focal points of the room. It stained to a rich deep color and installed flawlessly. 2 coats of Minwax fast-dry poly finished it nicely.

Beautiful crafted doors, I had to match existing doors and these doors are the exact match. The shipping was very fast and the gentleman delivering the doors was very proud of his work... thanks! Would recommend this Krosswoods doors to anyone, knotty alder is beautiful!!!

Poor packaging resulted in constant damage to product. I would not recommend this product.

If I wasn't a professional I would have never been able to install! Door itself is warped and unsanded. I had to finish drilling the lockset holes. Parting stop was attached with staples making it unadjustable. I do NOT recommend this manufacturer.

I ordered the knotty alder door. The knots on the door are excellent and the company fills the holes with black epoxy which is good. But they also use knotty wood on the framing part which is serious problem when the knot is large enough to spend the entire frame piece. They should use not free wood for the frame and door stop piece. This one came with the entire structure compromise because of this large knot in the frame midsection and the injected plastic was awful in that it overflowed on the frame around the frame and did not fix the structural problem.

Of course you get what you pay for!!

Worked but a very rough finish product.

I ordered three doors. Two were defective with mis-cuts on the frame. I had to send them back.

Not a cheap door and after installation, doesn’t look cheap at all but really fine. Easy to install and fits nicely to specs. Not exactly precision tight but good enough. This door looks so good with a bit of light sanding and varnish ( polyurethane, oil based) you would be mad and crazy to stain it. In fact I guarantee it will turn heads finished with three coats and the right hardware. I would buy this one again and in fact, I did.

The edges are a little rough. Had to do some sanding
