The 36" x 96" door slab was a perfect start for a barn door project on an interior 8' arched entry for the laundry room. The door quality and character made a a nice addition to our home.

Delivered to store as promised, wrapped to protect the wood. Door is very strong and straight

Really beautiful door. Delivered timely, would have given 5 stars, but there was a chipped area at bottom edge of door from transport. Plastic covering edge was peeled off there. Did what I could to hide it. Heavy and sturdy door.

Excellent quality and finish. I have installed them throughout my new house. I personally stained and sealed each door and found that the wood easily took the stain without leaving blotchy areas. Someone recommended using a conditioner first because alder is a softer wood but on my test piece found that the conditioner did not allow the grey pigments in the weathered oak stain I was using to penetrate the wood. I did not use the conditioner and the finished doors look beautiful.

I ordered two of the doors. I was disappointed at first when doors came in at the wrong size and Home Depot wasn’t willing to compensate for the wrong order arriving. However, when the right size arrived the product was great quality. Very happy with the purchase. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous door for a good price. Stained beautifully.

I ordered a 28x80 door.. After sanding, staining and three coats of poly went to install and discovered that I had a 32x80. Home Depot is going to ship me a correct door with consideration, but the vendor needs to do a much better job with quality control. This was a replacement for a door from another vendor. The wood itself is nice. Be advised it has lots of knots, so be good with that.

The door is beautiful! Bought to paint and make into castle entrance type door now not so sure that we want to paint over the knots and details.
