These nut drivers are excellent. We do a lot of electronic and automotive projects at our house that involve working with long studs with deep nuts and having these Vaco/Klein hollow shaft nut drivers really makes those jobs a lot easier. The collection is pretty complete for the sizes that make sense for a hand-held driver. Klein also has some rubber handle units as well, but these plastic handle drivers really work well in the supplied holder. The feel is quite comfortable in the hand and is easy to grip without slipping. Interestingly, the holder I got, unlike the advertising photo, had the two larger drivers on the left side (the holes for those two are larger than the other eight holes), which made the labels incorrect, however, that does not diminish the value of this set at all. The holder has mounting holes on the front and bottom to allow it to be positioned above any work station, and taken to a remote work site, like an auto. I really like Klein tools to do electrician type work and have used a wide variety of Vaco (Klein subsidiary) termainsl and tools for electronics work, and this set of tools just adds to the string of positive experiences with their products.

Hollow nut-drivers save me a ton of time (and frustration) on many electronics and automotive projects, and this Vaco 5.5mm driver is a key part of that. We do a lot of electronics and auto projects and many of those involve driving or removing metric nuts from long studs. Getting a needle-nose pliers on some of these nuts is really tough and majorly frustrating at times, especially under the dash or hood. These make that issue a thing of the past. I like to use M3 bolts and nuts to support standoff spacers on my electronic projects (see video) and the 5.5mm nut-driver is "the" tool for mounting those. The M3 machine screws are the perfect fit for the plastic spacers I need and the 5.5mm nut-driver makes mounting them a breeze. I've used Vaco terminals and crimpers for decades on electronics projects and have a lot of other Klein tools which I use for electrical wiring type work around the house, but I hadn't tried Vaco's plastic handle nut-drivers before. I really like the rubber grips that Klein nut and screwdrivers have, but these bare plastic handles are comfortable and are much easier to store in the mounting bracket you can get if you buy the whole set. The tool has a good feel and balance on the hand and can be comfortably used for extended periods. The quality of this Vaco tool is definitely up to Klein (who owns Vaco) quality standards. This tool was so useful and its quality so high, I went ahead and bought the entire set (see picture). I definitely recommend these to anyone working on these kinds of projects.

The 5.5 mm nut driver made by Vaco is a nice tool, chrome plated and has a 3 inch hollow shaft to accommodate long screws when you need to get to a nut, usually used when working with electrical boxes. The shaft is chrome plated to keep it from rusting and the handle is grooved for easy grip. I don't find myself using this often, but when I do it is quite helpful.

5.5 MM Metric Nut Driver with 3" Hollow Shaft is a quality tool. The packing list enclosed with the tool was marked from Klein Tools, but no where on the tool does it say Klein. My experience with other Klein tools has been a good one. They're generally very good quality, so I expect the same from this tool. I like the hollow shaft which allows you to be able to fit over bolts up to three inches long. It is chrome-plated to resist corrosion. It features a "Comfordome" handle which makes it more comfortable to grip. I don't own a complete set of metric nut drivers, but do have a complete set of SAE. I was often in the need for a size in-between a 1/4" and 3/16", and this 5.5 MM is the one I needed. See pics below.

This 5.5mm nut driver from Vaco is 3 inches long (6 1/2” long including the handle). It’s very sturdy, well made in the USA, and is non-magnetic. The shaft is hollow so the driver can reach the bottom during tightening or removing. It doesn’t have a rubber grip on the handle, but worked well regardless on everything I tried it on. Most of the stuff I work on is not metric, but it’s still good quality, and something I will be using fairly regularly.

If you need a 5.5 mm nut driver, this tool does the job. The hollow shaft fits over bolts up to 3 inches. The shaft is non-magnetic, chrome plated to prevent corrosion. Fluted plastic handle has round top for comfortable pressure against palm. In this product line, metric sizes have black handles; SAE sizes are color coded. My sample has a slight misalignment between the handle and the shaft—does not interfere with function. The handle is labeled VACO, a company acquired by Klein in 1986. Made in USA.

Klein 70255 5.5mm Hollow Nut Driver allows you to capture the nut buried down a post. Many applications for their use. I used mine on a starter I need to disassemble to see why it failed. These are really a must if you try to use a channel lock on the nut lots of things can go wrong. With these the nut stays in good shape. I believe they have the handle anchored to the post, although on something this small you would not encounter great torque. The are really nice and made in the USA

The 5.5 MM metric nut driver with 3 IN. hollow shaft is a strong, easy to use and handle nut driver. Received it and utilized it immediately to screw a couple of nuts on a project I was working on and it was really an amazing product. Well built and the handle was properly manufactured. I totally recommend this unit to both aspiring and seasoned DIYers out there.

Klein will not let you down. Its a high quality tool made in USA. As an engineer I like to get my hands dirty when it comes to electrical or electronic work. I only buy Klein because in my professional opinion they are the best. They are 6 point vs Milwaukee is 12 point so with klein you will have less of a chance of stripping screw and nut heads. Milwaukee is beefier for heavier duty work but kleing is much lighter and better for tighter spots when doing electrical work.

Perfect! It is a REALLY hollow shaft nutdriver, hollow clear up into the handle. Great fpr running nuts on lung U bolts.

Excellent quality. Great grips. Perfect size if you plan on carrying in a tool pouch, not so long that they get in the way of other items. I like that the sizes are marked in the end of the handle grips and they are easily readable. It’s also nice that the shafts are hollow so you can get to nuts on long bolts. Klein tools doesn’t make junk. I’ve never owned a Klein tool that I wasn’t completely satisfied with. I’ve had this set for about a month now and have no regrets whatsoever.

This is not under the Klein brand name. By the time I realize that it was to late to sent it back. I was not home and my daughter opened it up and place in my tool locker. It was 3 weeks before I saw it. I was mad.

The head on this is too large for my needs. I intended to use it on a model aircraft but the outer diameter of the driver makes it impossible to fit where I need it.

I have a couple of old Klein screwdrivers. The grips are very comfortable and always have been. The grips on my new nut drivers are terrible in comparison. I wish I had hand tested them at the store. Too soon to tell anything about durability.

I have purchased almost all of my Klein tools from Home Depot and every time I have received exactly what I ordered!

This nut driver is perfect for what I bought it for

This is a high-quality nut driver suitable for any job that requires a nut driver in 4mm size. Also you can turn or grind the outside of the socket part down small enough to fit in the carburetors on Stihl saws, blowers, and trimmers to adjust the low and high speed mixture adjustment screws, as they are 4mm hex inside a small opening.
