[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought myself this Christmas gift because I was so good all year. My old stand mixer was my mom's and not a kitchenaid. It gave over 25 years of service but needed to retire. This new beauty is up for any challenge. I made several batches of cookies, bourbon balls and bars. No batter was too thick. Anxious to test it out on scones, breads and more!

Lucky me I got it on sale. You can also use this for making pasta, a slicer, to ground meat and many more. Just buy its different attachments. It also comes in different colors. Red is beautiful! This is also good for family bonding. It is safe to use with kids. You will have fun using this for sure.

I love my mixer, but I was so bummed when I was making my Christmas cookies this evening because I noticed that the white enamel on the paddle attachment is chipping! Thankfully I noticed it and was able to look through the dough for the paint that chipped off, but still pretty upset about it. :/

I am so happy that so many failures were not my fault. My family started respecting me!! The bread I just made is gone, except for one of mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this last month on a great sale but had to return it. It was much too noisy. The rear of the lift bowl is hard to attach and can come loose. Instruction booklet is poor quality and erroneous in spots. Ex: Care and Clean (3) says whip is top dishwasher safe but (4) says hand wash wire whip only. Flex beater and pouring shield add ons did not work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was supposed to be my Christmas present, but then Thanksgiving came...I had to get it out of the box...I told my wife she could wrap the empty box, and I would act like it was in there...This thing was all I could have asked for...It was easy to clean and I went from main entree to desert with a very simple clean up...Made cloverleaf rolls and used it to mix and knead the dough...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been wanting a KitchenAid lift stand mixer all my adult life (my mom had one when I was a child & I used it to bake quite a lot). The design hasn’t changed too much which is a good thing (because its already just right). I do love the bright red color that is available nowadays. I got a great deal on a refurbished model & it is working just fine. Its so much easier to bake using a stand mixer (i was mixing by hand before). Thanks KitchenAid!!

And there was a time the glass bowl accidentally dropped from the mixer....... That's the reason I bought the Professional series model. It is fixed tightly to the two holders each side. Like two strong arms holding the bowl. Each time when I make a dough, I don't have to stay by it and worry if it will drop from the machine anymore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my 20 year old 300 watt 4 qt. mixer. The old one still worked, but for the amount of baking I do I needed something more powerful. This new mixer can mix my entire double batch of soft pretzel dough!! It mixed it without any type of strain. It was awesome! Saved me a lot of hand kneading (although I still did some because I think there is something to that with handmade bread). At first I thought that the head was out of alignment with the bowl, but I think it was the way I put the bowl on the stand. I used to have a tilt-head, so this aspect took me a little bit to get used to.

It makes it so easy to make my cookie dough and also bread dough. I am loving it and baking alot more these days and giving my baked goods to friends to enjoy. I also got the meat grinder attachment to make my own chicken burgers.

We never had such an awesome stand mixer before this one. Always had a handheld Kitchenaid mixers. Very easy to use, and easy to clean too. LOVE IT!!!

He bought her one for her birthday and she thought it would be great for me as I have rheumatoid arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. It has been a lifesaver in the kitchen as I can now bake and cook again pain free! Definitely recommend to anyone who has had to give up baking and such do to old hands!

I bought this more than 6 months ago. I use it to make pasta, pizza dough, ice cream, and a bunch of stuff. It is amazing especially on kneading dough. It cuts the time short and I only have to finish kneading by hand for 5-10 minutes. It is amazing. I have some of the attachments as well. :)
