[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used this one time, but it worked very well, and looks beautiful!! Takes up less space than my old (different brand) mixer. My old mixer did not mix everything. When I stopped my old mixer, there was still flour in the bottom—-every time. With my new Kitchen Aid, EVERYTHING was mixed well!!! Yay! I am pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the mixer is fantastic. The features and function are solid and the machine isn't too loud while it's running. The only downside right now is that the whipping mixer head detached on one of the tines.

This mixer is the real deal: Heavy-duty construction, easy to use, a snap to clean! Whips up fluffy cream in 3 minutes, but also powers through bread dough. I now feel like one of the contestants on the Great British Baking Show!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Kitchen Aid-- What a wonderful assistant in my kitchen! Makes light work of kneading bread dough., probably cutting the time in half. Its motor is strong enough to make a silky smooth pasta dough but also gentle enough to mix a delicate cake batter. I can whip cream to perfect consistency in less than five minutes. My Kitchen Aid does it all. Whether you are a novice in the kitchen or are a seasoned cook, you will love your Kitchen Aid as much as I do mine. You will not be disappointed.

It had seen better days but remarkably still worked after about 25 years! Hoping my new one lasts that long. LOVE that I now have the tilt headd feature.

It works fantastically thus far and makes mixing and baking so much easier. And it's smaller than I was envisioning so it sits nicely on our countertop. I chose this as my 25th anniversary gift from my company from MANY other options. When it arrived, I was SO HAPPY to get it out & start using it (after washing the attachments). I am getting ready to retire & was SO looking to trying new recipes. I will now have the time. Once it gets moving, it is great. No matter what I do, the blades will NOT start moving unless I start by hand - WOW! That is not safe! I would rather not lose a hand to get my mixer working!!!! I think there was something wrong with this one from the get go & I am so very bummed! :( I have followed all the troubleshooting steps in the book, nothing works. It has done this since the day I got it. My husband has even looked at it to see if he could figure it out, nope. And he is great with mechanical things. My little Sunbeam hand held mixer does a better job than this mixer does. I had to resort back to that because I didn't want to hurt myself while trying to back things with the stand mixer I was so danged excited to receive & use, but can't. :( :(

I’ve had my Empire Red machine for 17+ years now, and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. It’s held up beautifully to a variety of tasks, from whipping cream to kneading dough. The only time I tested its limit was when I was mixing a large batch of extremely stiff cookie dough, where the recipe clearly stated it should be hand mixed at that stage. I love that the Artisan is built for maintenance - you can swap out the motor brushes by hand, adjust the beater depth, and tighten the tilt head on the base all after watching a 5 minute video on YouTube… not that I’ve had to do any of these things in the 17 years I’ve owned it! It’s moved with me 7 times, from large homes to small apartments. I always found a space for it. As a treat to myself, I’ve upgraded to the 7qt machine for Christmas. Nothing will give me greater joy than passing down this pristine Artisan to family who I know will love it as much as I have.
