However first time I used the broiler I almost burned lamb chops. Now I am used to the different settings such as center broil and adjusting the temperature

The idea of the food warmer actual works so is convenient especially when having company or just having the family gather at the same time.

However if anything else goes wrong I am going to have payment withheld and ask for them to remove and refund my money so I can buy something that works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We opted for this slide in range to replace a 13 year old different manufacturer model that began to leak gas from everywhere. My wife did research and found this KitchenAid to be what she wanted. It is a nice unit, however for myself I have found the touch controls to be too sensitive due to their location in the front rather than on top. Controls on the panel can be accidentally turned on or off by simply "brushing" into them - such as when reaching for something on a back burner and leaning into the front panel just a bit. It also makes a bit more noise than our older range, nothing horrible, but you can hear the oven burners igniting and heat expansion noises from even a good distance away. Not a big deal but something you have to get used to. (They even discuss noises in the owner's manual) I have also read reviews were the control panel burns out during a self cleaning cycle, haven't experienced this yet and hope that issue was addressed by KitchenAid. I do like the large grates, turbo burner, and its overall performance. The control touch panel is nice, easy to read, but again for my preferences I would have like it mounted more to the top rather than the front.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with the oven but the range top is impossible to keep clean and the lighting mechanism is very unreliable - we have had a technician come and look at it but it has not made any difference. Most burners take 2 tries.

Temperature range on burners are concise and allow a variety of consistent heat sources. Convection oven is fantastic, and probe provides accurate temperature monitoring and control.

However, a few items that I noticed that are a bit bothersome is that everytime, we lean against the front panel of the stove, it sets off one of the buttons. The other thing I noticed is that it takes quite a while to pre-heat. However, I love the even cooking and the Convection part of the oven when I'm baking cookings. It is a great investment and I'm glad that we went with this model. I also love the look of it in my new kitchen. Love the gas versus electric also. Thanks for a great product.

I like the technology such as the oven temperature readout where you can quickly and easily tell if the oven is up to temperature. The control panel is very sensitive so it is important to make sure you turn on the control lock feature.
