[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this set when my last immersion blender died. I was originally just interested in the blender itself and only gave secondary thought to the other accessories but figured I might have use for some of them anyway. I love this unit and use it several times a week. It has ended up taking the place of other devices such as my small cuisinart food processor and my hand mixer so I have not lost any additional storage. On top of this purchase, I went ahead and purchased the KitchenAid Diamond Blender so I was able to get rid of my old Ninja all-in-one blender/smoothie/food processor unit and now have actually gained back some storage space. I have not used the tall pitcher yet but I have used everything else with good results. This system comes with "pan guards" that clip over the steel blade bells to protect any non-stick pots and pans you may use which is great for when I make soups. I would definately recommend this to anyone who is looking for an easy to clean and compact solution for smaller chopping/blending/smoothie making needs and it looks nice to boot!

I've been in the U.S. for a couple of weeks and love to cook so replacing my kitchen equipment was a priority. I decided to buy Kitchenaid because in some things quality tells. The stick blender / whisk does it's job well. I love the pan guard, simple but clever addition. I haven't used the blender jug yet. However the chopper, which is a major piece of my kitchen kit is a let down. The lid barely secures and lifts up while in use. This lets food get into the 'join' area and means frequent lid removal, breadcrumbs or onion etc all over the counter and leaves me concerned it will damage the unit. I'm not overfilling which would make it understandable, 1/2 cup of dried bread or less causes it to happen. It simply doesn't have enough grooves to lock it into place and then when food gets in the groves it wedges into place. Furthermore the chopper lid is extremely difficult to clean. It's design means water can easily get trapped in the area surrounding the connection. I have been washing this with damp cloths rather than washing it or even risking it under the tap (faucet) but even with this care I can still see water if I spin the connector with nothing in the chopper. I foresee a time when rust forms and since drops of water come out if you connect the motor body then any water stagnating would be going into your food. Not something anyone should want. Photo shows area referred to and that it still has breadcrumbs stuck on it since I can't wash it properly. Conclusion: Makes me think again about buying Kitchenaid - 5* blender / 1* chopper. So my conclusion is definitely recommend the stick blender, it's fab, but if you love having a chopper there's likely far better than this available. 5* blender stick / 3* chopper / 1* chopper lid.

Cheap plastic gear warped out and the entire blender and all the parts are now 100% useless.

I use the wisk attachment sometimes but the food processor attachment is AMAZING. I was able to finely chop ingredients for a pineapple habanero sauce and it only took four pulses!!! This hand blander set is such a time saver

Bought to replace a two-speed hand blender whose higher speed burnt out years ago. I am using it for creating breakfast smoothies. It operates flawlessly and has a good, solid feel to it. Smoothies are very smooth and well mixed with little effort. The only problem I had was with the quality control of the included plastic pitcher. The rim was received with a broken lip, as if the edge got caught while falling off a shelf and nobody noticed it. The missing piece is not noticeable when the lid is on, and does not interfere with using it with the blender. I decided the problem didn't merit returning the whole set.

Wow. All the tedious chopping/mixing tasks - EASY! I use the chopper the most, onions, peppers, any vegetable really (pay attention to directions)- are chopped in SECONDS and ready to use. The multiple blender attachments to puree soup in the pan, or froth egg whites, or mix pancake batter- EASY! I use this tool almost every day. It cuts down prep time by more than half and cleans up and puts away easy in it's case. I LOVE this tool and have made salsa, sauces, dips, smoothies, mixed batter, chopped veggies to go in the frying pan- It is VERY versatile. I keep the diagram sheet that states which blender tool is best for what type of food- right inside the case for quick reference on which attachment to use. So handy- easy to use and you will use it. Almost everyday!

Of course after trying to turn it to unlock( old one had to twist the top) I finally pulled up on it and it came off. Lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this more than a month ago and used it for the first time last week I made a cream soup. It worked great the power kept trying to pull the blender down to the bottom I really had to keep a firm grip on it nothing like my last one. The last one had about half the power but did last me almost 20 years so can't complain too much. I just didn't know what I was missing until I bought this kitchen aid, I love it so far.

When my stick blender broke I knew I wanted a kitchenaid, but this one feels flimsy and the attachments do not stay on while I'm using them. I'm disappointed because this is not the kitchenaid quality I am used to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great blender but the frother/ blending tool will not stay attached to the blending arm base, it literally falls out. The worst thing is it can’t be replaced because it is a discontinued product, so I’m stuck with a blender that doesn’t blend. All of the other attachments fit the base as they should.

I thought I would love the versatility and quality of this. Definitely enjoyed the versatility, but my joy turned to disgust once I discovered there was water trapped in the lid and was coming out with subsequent uses. I've never submerged any piece in water, always clean immediately after using. Now there's nothing but funk inside the lid with no way to get it out. Tempted to contact CS, but I see others have the same issue as well. If I'm going to be told too bad so sad like I was with a notoriously defective ice cream bowl, why bother. On the hunt for a new brand. Think I'm done with KA for good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new hand immersion blender. I follow Whole 30 and this item is great for making my own mayonnaise, ranch dressing and all other types of dressings. I can also use it to make my favorite sweet potato soup!

I received this product as a gift.i didn't used it for about a year.today I put it together to use and it worked only for 5 minutes the plastic in the blender want broke, now its useless to me .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the capabilities of the new blender, but find the speed control knob unfortunately annoying. It is incredibly difficult to turn the knob, to select a different speed. Otherwise, a wonderful product.

I recently read through all reviews out of curiosity….I’ve had mine for years now and have had no problems at all. Every attachment works great, I especially love the small chopper with the S blade…this works fantastic on items I just don’t feel like putting in the effort to hand chop/dice. It’s too bad some have had issues with theirs, as I find mine indispensable! Thanks for making my tedious kitchen tasks so much easier

Bought this for my spouse December 2019. We used it maybe once a month to make hummus and/or blend tomatoes. This product didn't even make it to the two year mark. There's no way a motor should burn out while blending overcooked chickpeas when they're basically mush to begin with. Gave 2 stars because I love the 4 cup lidded measuring pitcher that came with the set.

I actually do not use it much anymore and that is because I have to press and hold the on button to keep it going. If I only had to turn it on to get it to work it would be fine but my hand gets sore from having to squeeze the handle to keep it on. The concept of the product is great. I love the design. It is just turning it on that makes it not great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I follow the instructions by the way(which say to only run the blender for approximately 1minute at a time) and am glad I do! With normal use it tends to get slightly warm. With hard use(i.e. frozen smoothies and crushing ice) it gets fairly warm after a minutes use. The most I ever run it is approximately 2 1/2 minutes for sauces (only gets fairly warm) and I love the chopper( I totally understand why there are so many mixed reviews! Basically, with the chopper( yes it technically can handle most vegetables) i have only and will only use things like bell-pepper onion garlic tomatoes and zucchini as well as other ‘soft’ vegetables not things like sweet potato or nuts etc i have not yet used it for nuts as i plan to purchase the counter top model for that:) it is quite easy and quick to set up ise and super easy to clean! it has handled my daily smoothies for my family of 3 every day for almost a month plus other various jobs and is still showing no signs of damage weakened product pieces or malfunction! I definitely recommend thos for daily use!!
