I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older version of this chopper/processor but this one is far superior. This one has the option to switch between chopping and processing and it is quite a bit quieter than my old one. What I really like about this one though is that you just hold down the handle with your thumb to make it chop, rather than pushing a button on the front, This has been such a lifesaver for me! After I got LASIK and stopped wearing contacts, I really struggled with chopping onions. My eyes just burn! This chopper allows me to quarter an onion, drop it in, press 3x and the onion is fully chopped! I also use it for making pesto with fresh basil. It’s so easy and such a time-saver!

    Works wonders
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for a while now and I must say this KitchenAide food chopper works wonders. I mainly use it for chopping fruits and vegetables for my pets it can be so time consuming to do this by hand so I'm so happy to have this product to save time. I have also used it to chop onion and I've used it to puree a few things as well. I had a chopper before but this one is way better it does a lot more.

      Love This!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from Tryit Sampling in exchange for my honest review. This is a great food chopper out there! Don't be fooled by the size, it works great and i have used it many times and washed it over and over and it's perfect, which makes it high quality. Love that it's neat and small sized, easy to move it around and store away when done. Great design and easy to use and clean, it chops smoothly and not loud! Perfect if you have a small apartment or condo,

        Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the kitchen aid food chopper to make chopping east and save time. The food chopper is easy to use and take apart to clean. You can use it to chop, purée and mix. You can also use the chopper with the top compartment open to add liquid ingredients while it’s chopping/mixing. The chopper is also east to store and put away

          Small but mighty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this KitchenAid 3.5 cup food chopper for several weeks now. I am a fan of other KitchenAid products and hoped this lived up to the reputation of their brand. When I first took the chopper out of the box, I was concerned that its small size would really limit me in any chopping needs I may have but I was soon shown otherwise. This little chopper is small but it’s mighty! The stainless steel blades inside were up to any task I found for it. I ended up loving the smaller , compact size because it was so easy to store and clean up! With two speeds , I found this chopper to be exactly what my kitchen needed.

            Read all the instructions!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little chopper. I gave it 4 stars because it's also a weird little chopper. It would be nice if there was something notifying you which way to turn things and most importantly that the power button is on top of the handle and not a button. That being said, this is a very solid built chopper. I love that the cord can wrap into the base. Especially for counter storage. I feel like whomever designed it, but a lot of thought into the placement of things to make it more logical/convenient, but just forgot to send out the memo.

              Great little food chopper
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food chopper is easy to use and works great. I love its small size, as it fits perfectly on my counter top. This saves me time since I don't have to store it elsewhere and pull it out only when making meals. I also really like that it has a spot for the cord to wrap around it for storage. I would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid - 3.5 Cup Food Chopper is a very convenient for all of your chopping and puree needs in the kitchen. It chops nuts perfectly. No more crying when you have to chop onions either. The chopper is perfect for making baby food purees as well. I love the cord storage! Very nice design!

                  Thoughtfully Designed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this 3.5 cup Food Chopper because of its' convenience, compact design and easy use and care. It doesn't take up a lot of space, which is always a good thing. The top lid twists open. The instruction manual is easy to follow. This food chopper is a joy to use when making fresh dips and spreads and chopping veggies. The drizzle basin is built into the top lid and easy to use. There is a chop and puree selection lever on the side of the base. The overall chopper is lightweight but sturdy and doesn't take up much storage space. The blade is detachable; it snaps in and out for easy cleaning . The top lid , work bowl and blade are dishwasher safe but can also be hand washed, just take extra caution washing the blade. This food chopper is well made, thoughtfully designed and very user friendly.

A MUST HAVE in the kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid 3.5 cup food chopper is truly a must have in the kitchen. This little chopper takes up very little room but it is such a great kitchen appliance to have. I use this in the morning and throw onions, peppers, and tomatoes into it chop them up and then cracks eggs into the mixture and chop them just a little to blend it really well. It makes the best western omelets. I use it to chop up celery and onion for chicken salad or tuna salad. If you want to make salsa or homemade guacamole it's the perfect size and you don't have to get out the big huge food processor because this does such a great job when you don't have a lot to do. It literally takes a minute to chop up a whole onion or 3 minutes to make homemade fresh salsa. It also will puree foods and it has a hole in the top so if you want to make your own salad dressings or pesto you can add oil while it's processing your other ingredients. The quality of this is just superb and I can highly recommend this product. It is super simple to use as well and very easy for cleanup, in fact I put a couple of drops of dish soap in the food processor with warm water, pulse it a few times and finally rinse with very hot water and it's clean.

                      An Amazing Little Device
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper, in black. We have had a similar KitchenAid Food Chopper for over a decade. It’s a little powerhouse. My wife, who is the accomplished cook in the house, uses it so much that she wanted a backup. The review is from her perspective, which I tried to capture. In the box you get the chopper motor housing, the 3.5 cup container, with locking lid and with drizzle spout and pour spout, the blade/shaft/adapter, and documentation. Key notes include the fact that the container and all items that fit in the container/on the container are top-rack dishwasher safe. The construction of the motor housing and other components are all KitchenAid quality… very durable, especially when compared to other manufacturers. Blades are super sharp, as one would expect. And the cord included is substantial, yet fits neatly around the housing to keep the cord organized when not in use. In addition, the feet on the bottom of the housing keep the unit in place when chopping, while reducing vibration. Ingenious. The sturdy lid (and the chopper container) lock solidly into place to ensure that neither comes loose while in use. Neither she nor I knew what the hole was for on the lid of our current chopper. And, given we now had the instructions for the new chopper, we decided to check them out. Low and behold, the hole is a drizzle spout for slowly adding in oils to dressings, etc., without having to remove the locked lid. Will wonders never cease? The chopper offers two speeds (chop and puree) and a pulse option. You lock the lid and body in place and hold down the integrated pulse/on “button” on the lid (by the handle, where your thumb would be as you hold the container, if you were pouring it) to chop or puree. The unit will not turn on unless the lid and body are securely locked in place. You pulse by quickly pressing and releasing the pulse/on button. Make sure to read the instructions if you have any questions (I wish we would’ve years ago). They're very clear and easy to read. But, even without the instructions, this thing is super easy to use and has a very powerful motor. My wife has made chimichurri with it (parsley, garlic, and oil) for steaks, salsa, pico de gallo, peanut butter, and a ton of other things. According to her, it’s great for chopping/mincing onions for burgers, awesome for chopping nuts for baking and for use as ice cream toppings, and excellent at chopping fruits for jams. I asked her for her overall rating, she said that it’s a solid five-star. I asked her why. She said that the KitchenAid 3.5 cup chopper that we currently have has served her well for years. And, showing true KitchenAid quality, while the one we have isn’t showing signs of slowing down yet… even after years of hard use… after trying this one to make sure it worked just as well, cleaning it up and storing it for when our current one eventually calls it quits, she said that she has no problem recommending this little gem to others. Give the KitchenAid 3.5 cup chopper a go folks. You won’t be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a newly wed, and this is perfect! Makes cooking so much easier and doesn’t take up a lot of counter space which is perfect for our small apartment. Works so well, and you can manipulate how chopped you want your food. This little device is strong and versatile. I’ve made chunky salsa in it and have also made hummus. Definitely recommend.

                          Best small food chopper ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chopper actually chops your food without having to constantly take off the lid and mix things around every few seconds. I've owned several small choppers and this one outperforms them all. It is small enough to keep on the counter, yet large enough to chop a whole onion. So easy to clean up and dishwasher safe. The cord wraps neatly around the base for storage.

                            Great food chopper
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this food chopper! It was easy to set up and it’s easy to use. I really like that it has a small footprint and is easy to store. It does a great job of chopping, dicing, etc., as it has a nice amount of power and I really enjoy making dressings and sauces with the top feature that allows you to pour liquid as you are blending. It’s also very easy to clean which I really like. Overall, I feel that this food chopper is very well made, easy to use and performs well. I highly recommend it!

                              Small and mighty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper is small and mighty. I was hesitate to use it on meats as it didn't look like it would be able to handle it; but, I was wrong. It chops up chicken very well. As suggested, I did cut it into smaller chunks. I also cut my fruits into smaller chunks before I puree it. My favorite thing to use with this is chopping garlic. I can keep that in storage for a long time. I like this product for the consistency and simplicity of it. The only minor issue I have is taking it apart to clean and making sure I have the lids on. I think it just takes getting used to. It is dishwasher safe so that is a big bonus. Overall, great kitchen tool and easy storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this chopper for making small dishes like chickpea salad or cookie batter. It works great and is easy to clean up. The blade is easy to put in and take out. I love how the cord has a designated sort of home at the base and stays in it easily. It's easy to start/stop since the push button is on the handle.

                                  Beautiful and works great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really impressed with this mini chopper.  I love how easy it is to use! All you have to do is set it for CHOP or PUREE, and then lightly press down the lid. You can pulse it, or you can hold it down for more time.  I like pulsing it a little at a time.  I tried it out with something simple. I make these amazing 3 ingredient energy bars with super ripe bananas, oats, and chocolate chips.  I always blend the oats a bit to make the bars creamier. I did about 4-5 pulses, and it came out perfect.  In my other mini chopper, it always took longer, and the unit smelled like the motor was burning every time I used it.  This chopper worked perfectly.  The unit didn't strain at all. It really is a quality piece of machinery.  I also like the opening on top for pouring in liquids. That's a great idea.  I wish the words, CHOP and PUREE weren't the same color as the unit. They are very hard to see.  You do get used to CHOP to the left and PUREE to the right.  The only thing that is a little troublesome is the two piece lid.  It is very hard to separate the black plastic from the clear plastic for a deeper cleaning.  I'm afraid it will break.  I have yet to be successful in separating them.  Other than that, I really love this small kitchen appliance. Definitely 5 stars if it weren't for that two piece lid.

                                        My new favorite!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this chopper so much especially the sleek design. One of my favorite things is that it dishwashes just fine in the top rack and the cord tucks around the bottom when stored. I used it to make mango sorbet and it turned out great and smooth - just thawed some frozen mango chunks for 10 min and added coconut cream. Started on pulse and then change to purée which speeds it up a lot. I also like that there’s not a separate on off button, it’s just the thumb area where you hold the handle. You just have to make sure the bowl clicks into place properly first. It has a neat feature that I look forward to using with the drizzle basin, that way I don’t need to take the whole lid off just to add more liquid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already had the larger size KitchenAid food processor, but needed something for the smaller jobs so I had less to clean when making smaller dishes or processing smaller food quantities. Absolutely the only one I considered!

                                            My favorite chopper
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am soo soo pleased and impressed with this food chopper by KitchenAid! It comes packaged well. It's very easy to open and there is barely any assembly needed before you can happily chop away whatever food you need chopped! It's got a easy manual to read and Instructions are very easy! Clean up is a snap and it's machine washable! Meal prep is much easier with the KitchenAid mini food processor. It is a small food chopper, which makes it easy to store between your pans. Once you get it out, you can use it to cut vegetables like raw onions, carrots and tomatoes for salads (short use of the shopper) or soup (longer use). But also to prepare meat for dog food, or to make powder sugar or chocolate sprinkles. Between all those cutting sessions, you easily clean bowl, lit and knife in the dishwasher. You'll chop, mix, and puree your way to quick creations and fresh options. From KitchenAid. Includes KFC3516BM mini food processor base, 3.5-cup bowl, lid, locking blade, and manual Handle and pour spout Plastic/stainless steel construction. Dishwasher-safe bowl, lid, and blade. To open the lid. It’s done by turning it off, which is a lot different then just trying to tear it off. But, once you figured that out, it’s easy to close it. Once closed and attached to electricity, you just put it on by closing the lid with your thumb. Lift your thumb, and it will immediately stop chopping. This makes it easy to dose how small you want your sugar/veggies/meat or chocolate. There is only 1 switch on it: to differ between cutting hard and cutting really hard. I will use this till I cant anymore lol. It's really a good kitchen tool to have!

Easy to use, not super loud, and comes apart for cleaning. The only drawback that I found was adding the cup to the motor became a little “dicey” as if the lid was already on you had to be careful not to start the motor. Otherwise it’ll get a lot of use!!

                                                  fantastic little chopper
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE this "little" food chopper!!! It's got a nice, simple and modern-classic design, is a great size for storing when not in use and I truly adore the fact that the cord wraps around and nests in the base. It's absolutely perfect when looking to chop or puree a 3 cups of food or less (which means it's nothing short of wonderful for just my spouse and I). The blades are absolutely fantastic and chop/puree through anything I throw them perfectly (anything from hard ginger root to soft, squishy tomatoes). The chopper doesn't seem to get too warm or shake at all even when pushed to chop up more difficult things (eg, nuts, etc) and the sound is never too loud or terrible (although how loud it is does depend on what you have in it). I love the design of the "cup" portion of it, especially the handle little pour spout (just makes things a little less messy). It's super simple to use and just as easy to clean up. Overall, I can't recommend this one enough if you're looking for an amazing every day food chopper!

It’s quiet and got the job done. Easy to clean out. It has different speeds. As long as you have small amounts to chop, this machine is perfect.

                                                          Great Little Chopper!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper in matte black is a great little food processor that can do a lot despite being so small. I owned this food copper in silver for 5 years (still working wonderfully) and liked it enough to want another. It doesn’t chop or puree as much as a full size larger food processor but the smaller footprint and speed make it worth doing two batches if needed. It is useful for mincing things that are tedious to do by hand and making sauces, especially since there is the hole on top to slowly stream in oil or other liquids. Food can get stuck under the blade piece if you try to empty the bowl and then try to put the blade back in but that happens with most machines. I highly suggest getting a mini spatula to use along with this processor to be able to get all the bits out. The only function I miss that a full size food processor has that this mini doesn’t is the ability to grate or shred things like cheese and vegetables. I like that the buttons are simple with the lid acting as the on/off switch by pressing down on it. Like most food processors or choppers, it is somewhat like a puzzle to put together/detatch the lid, bowl and base and it does take some repetition to get master. However, all the parts fit together well and it is not too difficult. I like that it is designed so you can store the power cord around the base of the machine so it's easy to keep the cord tidy when not in use. It is well made and feels substantial. This matte black color is really sleek and makes the machine look high end and modern. Overall, I highly recommend this if you are looking for a mini food chopper

                                                            Easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper. It is very easy to use, and I use it for so many things! I love to make homemade salsa and hot sauce with vegetables (peppers/lime juice etc) and this purees it perfectly. I also love to use it for hummus, salad dressings and dips. I did a trial run to see how it performed with dry ingredients to make one of my pie crusts ahead of the holidays, and it turned out flawlessly. This food chopper is very versatile and a cinch to clean up. It has stainless steel blades, a spout to add ingredients, a nice weighty base that won't fall over & a convenient place to wrap the cord at the base. I also really like that you simply thumb the handle to use it, my last model you would press the pulse button on the front. I definitely recommend this, high quality- just as you would expect from KitchenAid!
