I like the tub very much so far. One issue, this tub requires a special drain. When you order the tub be aware that a standard overflow drain will not work and you have to get a special Kohler drain and Home Depot did not have it in stock.

Bought this last year, just got bathroom renovated and I’m so glad we got this tub!

Tub is great but sold without the needed drain which Home Depot doesn’t stock which cost me time and money. If I knew it needed a separate drain I would have prepared for that.

The tub is out of spec. Do not buy this tub if your opening is exactly 60”. The 2 tubs I received were 60 3/16” and 60 1/8”. Also do not plan on just putting 1/4” material on the studs because the tile flange is out of spec also. You will be cutting custom thickness shims for each of the 3 walls.

The tub is fine, but it's over twice as much as the similar model from American Standard. It was very hard to get a feel of over-all quality level before we made the purchase. Now that it is installed, it looks and works fine, but it has a slightly cheap feel as the edges flex slightly when you sit on them. for the money, I would expect better fit and finish. Also, the lack of multiple speeds for the jets and the inability to operate the heater independent of the main pump is surprising for a tub in this price range. Over-all, we've found Kohler to be of slightly above average quality but not enough to justify the inflated price.

My husband enjoys the whirlpool almost everyday. The heating unit maintains temp well and the tub looks good too.

careful it nicks easy, pump motor does not drop to the ground as per instructions and I had to support it

We went for the heated whirlpool and it makes a very big difference. No more rapid cool down when using the spa feature. The extra deep tub makes for a much more encompassing whirlpool. If thinking about a lesser tub please kick it up to this one, you will not regret it.
