The seat came with a crack near the mount so I had to return it. However, I found a different brand at the store for half the price and better quality. I have been disgruntled with the Kohler brand recently.

Ordered 2. Arrived quickly. Easy to install however is slightly off-center to the Kohler bowl (bought Kohler seat expecting perfect fit). Quiet-close works well. Seat takes a little getting used to because it isn't flat, it's higher around the outside & slants inwards towards the bowl. Not sure if this will be comfortable for everyone. 1 seat arrived missing pkg of hardware so had to return & need to re-order.

Love the quiet close! The other seat cracked when it was dropped down against the seat, so the quiet close will fix that! This is the first toilet seat I have had to replace after 16 years, so I had to order two colors... wasn't sure about almond or biscuit... so if you are debating, the biscuit is the off white or the lighter color of the two, not so much yellow in it:). The Home Depot is great about returns, just keep your receipt! I highly recommend this elongated seat cover!

I purchased this Kohler seat in the Almond color for our Kohler toilet. The color match was perfect and I mean perfect. The installation was straight forward. Just place the two screws, tighten and click in the seat. What could be simpler. Kohler did an outstanding job with their engineering design. Oh and removal for cleaning is even simpler. I like the no slam seat and lid too. I fully recommend you purchase this seat in your Kohler toilet color and you will not be disappointed.

Installs easily. Color is a good match for 1985 American Standard fixtures in Almond. A small amount of adjustability. Soft close works well and silicone ring bumpers add stability.

Quick and easy to install. Soft close works well. Easy to clean. Just don't lean back on the lid unless it is supported from behind. It is not weak, but it is not designed to be used as a recliner.

I had been looking for a quiet closing elongated seat that was not white! I finally found it on line at Home Depot. The order was received timely, well packaged, installed as directed, works like a charm.

I wanted a Kohler seat to match my new Kohler Almond toilet. I looked at 8 different styles and the Rutledge was my last hope. All the Kohler plastic seats have this severe slant in the seat where the inner edge curves down so severely that it feels like you are sitting on a ridge (because the outer edge is so high in comparison). My kids and I all agreed that a flatter seat is much more comfortable. So I went with a Bemis in Bone which is the closest (but in my opinion, not a perfect) match to my new toilet. The Bemis plastic seats are so comfortable, close slow and secure very tight so that they don't move at all. Kohler, you need to redesign your seats - they are just plain uncomfortable.

For obvious reasons, this seat is perfect for the toilet primarily used by the man. Especially the man in a hurry to walk away.

Installation was a breeze. Works well. true test will be how long will it hold up. Last one only last two plus years.
