Hi HomeDepotCustomer, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to hear your Cimarron toilet tank has a slow, weak flush. This is nothing you should expect when you choose a Kohler toilet. A slow flush is sometimes indicative of a clog within the toilet, waste line or vent pipe (on the roof). We would suggest checking these things and plunging/snaking the toilet. One way to check the waste stack is to take a large bucket of water and dump it in the toilet bowl. If the toilet flushes well, there may be a restriction within the vent pipe and will need to be cleared. If the water still drains very slowly, there may be a clog in the waste stack. Another way to test for a clog or venting issue is to unthread the p-trap under the bathroom sink and flush the toilet 5 to 6 times. First locate the p-trap below the bathroom sink. Place a bucket below the p-trap to catch water that may come out when unscrewing. Unthread the p-trap where it connects to the horizontal pipe leading away from the toilet. Swivel the p-trap pipe, where it connects to the vertical pipe coming down from the toilet, over the bucket. Next, flush the toilet 5 to 6 times. If toilet flushes better with the p-trap open, the vertical vent pipe is blocked. If debris comes out of the pipe from the wall, there may be a partial or full clog in your waste stack, or you do not have sufficient venting. Vent pipe restrictions can be caused by bird nests, leaves or even snow. If the toilet flushes better with the p-trap open, the venting is blocked. If the p-trap method is not successful or you are uncertain of the issue, you may need to contact a licensed plumbing professional to check the vertical waste stack on the roof for potential obstructions.
