The jamb was broken upon unboxing. It appeared the crack in the wood was painted over, perhaps during assembly. Any other door or situation, I would have returned it, but I couldn’t make my customer wait another 2 months for a special order door. Surprised to see no brick mould or nailing flange.

Door was well packed on a pallet and arrived about...
Door was well packed on a pallet and arrived about a week early in good shape at the store. I deducted one star because the steel security plate in the door jamb was not centered with the deadbolt. I had to file down the steel plate so that the deadbolt would pass through.

The frame was built 1/4 too wide. This cause two...
The frame was built 1/4 too wide. This cause two problems I have identified so far.
1) The door does not fully engage the seal on the latch side of the frame leaving a small gap.
2) The standard deadbolt locks are not long enough to engage the metal backing plate on the frame.

Good looking Door
I have got one of these doors to replace my dated front door and love it. Because it was so reasonably priced I put another one in my laundry room going to the garage. It was always kind of dark in there and the window in the door provides some much needed light. The only con I have is I had to order the door and it took about 3-4 weeks before it arrived.

Great door!
The door is beautiful. We installed it for our porch and I really like the clean, modern look. We even painted it white in the color it originally came with because it matches the kitchen well. We bought the fiber-glass one though but with the same design. I don't think there is a huge difference between getting a steel or fiber-glass door, other than the price.

Nice looking door.
I purchased and installed this door at the rear entrance of my attached garage. It let's in plenty of light while also providing sufficient security. The door is made well and looks great.
Be sure to take notice that the door does not come with brick moulding, therefore installation is slightly more challenging and trim work will need to be purchased seperatly.

One thing I would change is the trim around the window is plastic and not paintable (easily).

Worst purchase ever
The paint (as recommended per Jeldwen customer service folks) does not adhere to the vinyl that holds the windows in place. On top of this, the door is low quality, seals don't seal properly and the steel dents easily, DON't WASTE YOUR MONEY on this!

Great looking, safe door, with lots of light!
I get lots of compliments on this great looking door. After a break in, I still wanted a window for light but one that would not allow access to the lock and handle of the door. It is also a good value! I really like this door!
