Water Weld to the rescue...again
Due to cheap a PVC fitting that developed a crack, Water Weld saves the day. Also used it on a PVC thread leak and it worked there as well. Not my first JB Weld experience but first time with Water Weld. This is your "oh poo" fix it solution.

    Perhaps a bad batch?
I used this to try to repair a pinhole in a copper pipe. I prepped, cut a small amount, mixed until uniform color and applied. The material never fully hardened. I was able to cut it off with a knife. To test, I mixed a small batch, and just put it on a piece of paper. After an hour it was still rubbery. Maybe it was a bad batch. Very strange. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it for use in plumbing. In the photo, notice the score marks made with just my fingernail after an hour hardening.

      Headphone Repair miracle!
I love this waterweld epoxy putty! I have two expensive pairs of headphones which broke like a cheap pair. One pair are Sony which used very cheap plastic which after about a year nearly shattered, and the other pair used thin aluminum for the frame. I thought for sure I was going to throw away my headphones, but I seen this putty in the store and tried it. Sure enough I was able to apply the putty around the break and wow it formed a rock hard repair that has lasted longer than the original materials! Thank you so much JB weld!

        JB WaterWeld Putty is superb!
Last week, I noticed my basement ceiling was broken with water dripping. A 3" PVC drain pipe appeared to leak from the 90-degree elbow joint place. I called my handyman. Unfortunately, he was too busy to come. I decided to give it a try for a temporary fix. After researching and watching YouTube demos, I bought this 2 oz JB WaterWeld epoxy putty tube. Following the instructions, I fixed my leaking PVC pipe! It has been bone dry after one day. I will keep observing. There is another PVC drain pipe right next to this pipe, indicating that a conventional repair will be challenging and costly. JB WaterWeld epoxy putty solved my problem!

          Had such high hopes!
I applied this to a pinhole leak on 1/2 galvanized pipe. I put the whole tube and I'm still getting a slow drip leak. I routed a pex tube from the attic to above the sink to monitor the slow drip and it is still dripping a week and half after applying. I had such high hopes for this, even believing that it would eventually settle and cure even with the slow drip. I have to find another solution as a band aid.

Wish I could get my money back, what a waste
Used this to try and stop a leak where a hose comes in to our portable hot water heater. Used the marine epoxy first, didn’t fix it, added 3 layers of the puddy, still leaks!!! So annoyed.

We cracked the top on a 11 thousand poly water tank. The tank looked ruined until we bought over 70 JB Waterwelds. Now the tank is back in service and holding water. Can not say enough positive about this product!

Great to have in any shop or garage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used JB Weld products numerous times, this product worked very well. I used it to repair my sons manual go kart. The metal poles that make it up had cracks and holes and I used this product to mend them so my son could get more use out of his toy. Its super easy to use and works on a range of textures/surfaces. Its a quick and easy fix for a multitude of things!

Will NOT work if WET at all.
If the product isn’t meant to work in water, and that warning or remove “water” from the product. Product instructions has three steps, and a note. No where in those is “make sure the area is completely dry”. Product says to use gloves (good recommendation as I tried once without). However, it should be noted that you can’t reuse the gloves, or use them for long. The epoxy begins hardening and sticking to the gloves more than the piping. All four joints still leaking.

Jason, it will cure underwater if needed but does need to be applied to a dry surface for the optimum results. Please email us directly so we can help you with this. www.jbweld.com jbweld

                      Very effective!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product in a shower. It was easily to take out of the packaging. I formed the putty to fill in the area that was leaking. It’s important to use gloves. It sealed in an hour. It has been effective and waterproof. It’s a strong seal. Would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This J-B weld waterweld epoxy worked well on a couple of outside decorations that needed some patch work, put some gloves on and some putty rolled it and put it where i needed and within 20 minutes it had hardened and now it can withstand the elements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this product for free to test it out. This product worked as intended. I will recommend putting on some rubber/latex gloves before use. Just ripped off a piece and played with it until it was a solid color then pressed it up against the leaky part of anything such as pipe and it’ll worked like a champ.

                            Patched gutters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to do a little spring upkeep on the gutters before the heavy rain season kicked off and this did the trick! There was a spot on the back patio that would always drip and was causing concrete discoloration. This patch has held through some pretty serious storms already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a leak under my bathroom sink and this works so great on it. I haven’t had any leaking since. Product works as stated and so far is water resistant. This is my first time using it. Has a slight fume to it, but it could be my sensitivity.

                                    Hit or miss
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a hit or miss depending on what you are trying to fix. When trying to fix a hose it did not hold up. In my opinion it just does nkt hold up and stand to its word of working around and in water. I used on a bar of a gate and it is holding up just fine with no issues. Make sure you follow instructions and mix throughly.

I was not able to completely turn off the water during this repair. Thank Heavens a friend of mine told me about this waterweld epoxy! This was a complete lifesaver! I was able to apply it even underwater! This amazing epoxy is even resistant to water, oil and most chemicals. The best part is that it sets in 25 mins and totally cures in only an hour! Definitely recommend this!

However i dont know if i used to much but it will not firm up and dry. I have waited 3 days to write this in hopes it would, unfortunately it has not. I am going to try it on another project because i really like the ease of use and no mess of the putty formula.
