Excellent piece of furniture. Highly recommended!

This desk lived up to the high expectations set by the other reviewers. It's an amazing desk for the price! I put three coats of poly, but no stain so it would match the other furniture in the room. Also, my bluetooth keyboard fits in the drawer for when I want the room to look more like a guest bedroom than my office. I would definitely recommend to a friend and would definitely buy it again!

I love this desk. The unfinished version is very affordable. It could not be easier to assemble. Planned on painting it, but the wood looked so nice that I opted for natural stain and satin poly coat. It looks amazing. It is large enough to accommodate a small chest of drawers underneath. Do yourself a favor and buy this desk.

I highly recommend this desk. It came very well packaged. Incredibly easy to assemble. The hardest part was removing the protectors off the leg bolts. Use a gripper (to open a jar) for that part. Took about thirty minutes to assemble and I’m not handy. A handy person could do it in half the time. I purchased a computer desk that cost me alot more and this desk matches that quality. The desk is for my art studio and fits perfect.

After reading all the reviews, we decided on this desk. Had to wait some time before it became available due to selling out fast. It arrived yesterday afternoon...undamaged and perfect. To say this is a well built desk with high quality wood is an understatement! It is heavy and the wood is dense and super smooth. I put a solid brass knob on ours, and it was stained with a one coat Bombay Mahogany satin 380. I am not for sure that color is available anymore. We left the legs and area in front unfinished because we love the contrast. The last step today is a coating of polyurethane in a semi glass. The drawer is a soft close and my husband already wants another one. He loves the wood and I do too. Thank-you, Home Depot for having this company’s products for us to purchase. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED PURCHASING THIS DESK AND WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID!

Is a great piece and very well made...all you have to do is screw the legs on....I finished mine With 4 coats of stain and 3 coats of matte polyurethane and am using it as a small farm table instead of a desk...I love it! It fits my chairs just right..

Solid wood and very easy to put together. I used Watco Danish Oil to finish it after lightly sanding the top. Everything fit very well and it looks great. We have had it in place for about a month and it is a great piece of furniture for the price.

Just what I needed. It's good quality and very solid. It arrives in a flat box and was light enough for me to get it into my car and then into the house by myself quite easily. A very minor amount of assembly is required - the desk top, drawer etc are already assembled, so all you need to do is screw the legs on and it's completely idiotproof, doesn't even really need an instruction sheet (although there is one). The drawer is nicely fitted and operates very smoothly, with metal sliders. It arrived fast (I had it shipped to my local store for pickup) and I will be staining it to match the rest of my furniture this weekend. I made a photo of it showing all the dimensions, since I couldn't find a good description of those before purchase.

Weathered Gray Desk—Good Value and Quality I saw this desk at another store for a higher price, so I knew what I was buying before I ordered it. The gray is more of a mousy (weathered?) gray shade with white lines in the finish. It sounds nicer than I just described it, but know it isn’t an even, painted shade.The single drawer slides nicely. The price was reasonable, and it was very easy to put together. I added a 30 inch black desk mat for protection. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the finish feels like it could use another coat. If I had wanted a project, I would have bought it unfinished and painted it. However, for the price, I am extremely happy with it and would order again if I needed another one.

A perfect desk made of wood and not particle wood. So easy to put together, I did 2 in less than 40 minutes. I put both of them back to back to make a big craft table. Just need to decide on a color to paint them.

I could not say enough good thing about this desk! Simple, sturdy, well polished and easy to assemble. For a writing desk, it is perfect!! Don't hesitate. It Worths the Price!

This is the second desk I bought, I love them! They are very sturdy, solid, easy to assemble, and packed really well. Most everything out there at this price range is laminate/pressboard, so I was thrilled to find these desks at such a great price. They really didn't need sanding, but I went over them anyway to make sure there weren't any rough spots. All I applied was natural Dutch Oil and they look great. We use them for homeschool right now, so Dutch Oil is perfect-when the inevitable streaks of marker and sharpie get on them, I just sand the spot and rub a little more oil into them.

I really like these desks-I have ordered two now for our homeschool area. They are perfect for our needs-solid wood, great construction, easy to assemble and a decent price. I couldn't find an actual wood desk at this price point anywhere else and most fiberboard desks cost more than these. Neither had any damage from shipping-they are packed really well. I rubbed a coat of Natural Danish Oil on both and the grain looks great.

If you need a simple, versatile, classic, SOLID-WOOD desk, you just aren't going to find a better one. Additionally, the desk can be assembled in 15 minutes or less. Then throw some Min-Wax One Step on there and you're good to go. Considering a second one.

Very easy to assemble & very sturdy. Had to see it in place to decide on color ( will be going 2 tone). Found there are rub on decorative accents available - unfinished desk allows so many options.

The drawer would not open. I applied some lubricant which helped somewhat, but drawer still difficult to open

While I was renting It also doubled as my work bench. I literally have used it as an engine table, I can't believe some of the torture I have put it through. I am certain that this table is of the same quality. Parawood/Rubber tree wood may be very light colored but with a couple of good coats of Tongue oil or teak oil mixed with a little gas/alcohol will help bring out the color and penetrate the wood grain. The Parawood is very tough.

Love how simple and affordable this is. Stained it and put a shiny coat on it. Looks expensive. Fits perfectly by the bed in a small bedroom.

This was a very solid piece of furniture for the price. The bare wood was a nice feature that gave me the ability to custom stain to match other furniture.

This is a very solidly built table. I sanded the top and put on a polyurethane finish. I painted everything else white. I needed a desk for a small space, and this fit the bill. If you need something this size, you can't go wrong!

The desk is quite sizeable and beautiful wood quality. You can always add a file cabinet to store underneath or not. Easy to put together as only the legs which are very sturdy. Appreciate the drawer for essential desk matters.
