The Crome finish wasn't polished well enough

As advertised, Trimed 2 inches off to fit the opening and it looks and works far better than my 40-year-old top rollers! Was able to do it myself; my opening was already Square. Item came in three packages to the store and was well packed. A little polish removed marks from the aluminum.

If you are looking for a better than average contemporary mirrored sliding closet door this may be the one for you. I wanted a door with minimum frame showing on the face, no beveled edges and one that had something other than paper backing for the mirrors to give the door a bit more rigidity and solid feel. This is the only door that I could find that fit the bill. Was a bit of an ordeal getting ordered as the factory was apparently overwhelmed with orders and had pulled the item from the Home Depot site. After a few emails / weeks however it was put back on line and I was able to place the order. The door was wrapped well and arrived without any apparent damage from the truck. Once the package was opened however there were a couple of scratches on the mirror (I think they may have come from metal shavings in the packaging perhaps left over when the metal frames were cut in the factory). Not enough damage to warrant trying to return ship, however it was disappointing. If I had been able to buy the door at a Home Depot store (you cannot) I would not have bought a door with these scratches. Such is the problem with ordering on line. Installation was very easy. Nice low profile floor track. The other complaint is about the shipping company Home Depot uses. If you look at on line reviews of this shipping company I have never seen a company with such negative reviews. I have no idea why Home Depot continues to use them. My only complaint with them however is the shipping company was to call the day before to advise of the delivery. They did not and just showed up. If I hadn't been home at the time I suppose I would have found the door lying in the front yard. All in all, a nice contemporary door for the price. Just wish I could have bought it in the store.

Great quality and easy to install. Mirrors are great. Brought a lot light into the room.

Special order desk was very helpful and product was received in fine shape. Doors are not exceedingly heavy and the mirror quality is very good, no distortion. Cutting the track to size may be the most difficult step in assembly, especially the top track. Installation is easy adjusting the door for plumb is a cinch. The instructions could be a little more helpful, the top track has two different faces , you choose which one faces forward !!
