We bought this Dryer and the matching washing machine in December of 2012. The washer needed a new water pump last year. The dry heating element went out last week and when I check the electrical I saw this major short. For a high-end brand, I am disappointed by the longevity of the products.

These machines were purchased to replace the machines in the basement I relocated the laundry room to the first floor. The speed and efficiency of the washer and dryer is excellent however if your looking for the a very quiet and well balanced machines I highly recommend the Elecrolux machines

I am in love with my new electro lux washer and dryer. So glad I made the purchase. The washer is the only one on the market that has a door that can open either way. My washer is on the right and all other brands can only go on the left.

Bought the washer/dryer pair in 2014 and have been completely satisfied with my purchase. They are used almost daily and have never experienced any problems. The features are outstanding and love the steam function. The large capacities for both the washer and dryer are a huge plus!

Electrolux does not stand behind its products. If you think that higher cost equals higher quality, you are in for a rude awakening. I have had this dryer for 1 1/2 years when it stopped functioning. A service visit revealed a problematic 'mother board'. The local store I purchased it from reached out to Electrolux about getting the board free or at a reduced cost based on it being just outside warranty. Electrolux said no (tough luck). If I were to replace the board ($180), the board was only covered 90 days past installation. Electrolux themselves don't believe their products are superior or they would offer better warranties. This tells you all you need to know. Electrolux offers the same warranty on its dryers (1 year) and on its replacement parts (90 days) as the least expensive dryers out there. So the question you have to ask yourself, is it worth it?

Have had nothing but problems with the dryer bulky items get caught between the paddle and the door, half the time you can't get it to start lint filter sucks wishing I had gotten another Brand housing if flimsy at best could keep going on but will just get more upset with it

I brought the washer and dyer 2 months ago and I'm very happy with my purchase. My wash loads are cut down by half became more can fit vs. the old washer and dyer I had. An I can fit my comforters in their. Less washes save more money. Love it

I bought this dryer a month ago. Works great! I haven't had to dry anything twice. Perfect the first time around!

We purposely bought Electrolux front loaders and overall are happy with our decision. Like other front loaders, the washer retains water even after the load is finished. The detergent drawer also retains water. If the doors are not left open, they smell bad so I wipe the rubber seals on the washer and the detergent drawer after finishing the washing. The dryer is huge and I can fit plenty of clothes in there at one time. However, if the heat cycle isn't set to High, the clothes don't fully dry. Some clothes can't be dried on High, so they have to go through several drying cycles before they are dry enough to put away.

I like this dryer but I have to practically kneel to unload the thing. It is so deep.

I've had this dryer for 3 months and am totally impressed. Temperature settings dry exactly as the instruction booklet describes. The steam feature helps eliminate wrinkles. Great choice to go with my Electrolux washer.

I have had this dryer for a month and not sure I love it as much as the washing machine. I keep doing different options for Sensor drying to figure out how to get things dry the first time. It does ok with most things except bulky and towels. I always have to dry the towels a second time even when using high heat and max dryness. Other than that it is a good dryer, fits nicely stacked on the washer. Doesn't seem to shrink things easily so I can dry my delicates on medium heat. (I have to or they won't get dry on low heat the first time). Overall, I'll keep it, just not in love.

I bought a pair about 2 months ago. The laundry is the cleanest I have ever had. They cost more but I am glad I purchased them. The only thing that is a little difficult is that you have to press the silver know just right to get them to open. I wish they had a different type of handle. Overall, very satisfied. Washer is quiet even though I have them stacked.

Bought the washer/dryer about a month ago. So far, very pleased with the products. They are very quiet; balanced and have great features. Both are good products and value. Before I purchased them I did my research, and read many reviews the gave these product a very poor rating. I don't agree so far I am very pleased with my purchase.

This dryer has some nice features, including a bulky/bedding setting, a towel setting, and steam.

The Electrolux dryer is great. Very quiet, many many features, probably more than we will ever use, but we wanted to match the Electrolux washer we bought 2 years ago. My issue with this experience was the general customer service surrounding it. First, we were prompted to purchase an installation kit that included a vent hose and a selection of power cords. We did so. We then selected a delivery date. The time of delivery was said the be set the day prior to delivery and I would be called. I ended up calling them at 6pm the day before delivery. They mentioned a glitch in the automatic notification system. Well, they must have fixed the glitch, because over the next hour, I got 4 calls from the system. I was told that the delivery driver would call 30 mins prior to arrival. This did not happen. When the delivery team came in, they removed the old dryer and said they couldn't install the new one because they weren't allowed to connect to plastic vent hoses. I had left the original vent hose in place because of the tremendous effort it would take to move the washer and replace. I did this because it was the same exact hose that I was prompted to purchase. They said they could leave the dryer in the hall or on the porch. Well, since I didn't win last years Mr Hercules contest, I opted for the hallway ( why was the porch even an option?). Since they wouldn't install the vent, I had to. I realized after they left that during removal of the old dryer, the vent was torn, meaning I had to replace anyway. When I opened the dryer to remove the packing materials, there sat a brand new rigid metal vent line. Turns out I didn't have to buy the installation kit after all. Why the install team didn't know about it or install it still confuses me. After many cuts, scrapes and bruises, the installation was complete. Only really made difficult by the tight quarters I had to work in, WHICH WAS THE REASON I ORDERED INSTALLATION IN THE FIRST PLACE. Long story short ( too late) . . . the dryer is great. Go buy one. Home Depot should retool their customer service and installation practices.

We have had our washer and dryer for a couple of months and we love them. Their capacity is amazing, they are user friendly and they wash and dry wonderfully. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a washer and dryer.

I bought my washer several years ago and love it. It works as good today as it did the first day I used it. Just bought my dryer a few months ago, LOVE IT!! It is so quiet and efficient. Dries clothes in no time at all, wrinkle free. Awesome set!!!! Won't buy any other brand now!!

Great combination of settings for any size/type of load. Easy to reach and clean front mounted lint screen. Tumble feature is great to prevent wrinkles if you do not get to the dryer soon after it has finished. Dryer has been used 3-4 times a week for 4 months without any problems. The dryer is deep and when stacked, you may need assistance in reaching some items. Very happy with it so far.

My new front load machines replaced a 40 year old top load washer that I had a sentimental attachment to. I was sad when it finally died and wasn't sure if I would be happy with my new machines. I absolutely love them. I should have done this 10 years ago. They make doing laundry fun and the clothes are so much cleaner with a lot less water and significantly less drying time.
