Easy to install and well proportioned to hold bins, ski, etc. It does sway a bit so you need to be mindful while taking things on and off. Very happy with the product. It looks tidy in the garage and has cleared away a lot of the “once a year” items that I don’t need easy access to. I’m considering getting a second one.

I bought this to expand the hanging storage in my garage. I already had a previous version of this that is about 6 years old. I am not sure when they revised the design, but the new one hangs about 3/4" shorter than the old one when fully extended. They also reduced the mounting brackets from 2 lags each to 1 lag bolt. I had to add spacers to the mounts to get it to hang the same height as the old one as I needed the full footprint of both for the big items I needed to store. Not a huge deal overall, but a little disappointing. Older design is on the left in the pictures, new on the right.

I tried one and liked it so much I bought four more. I used two in my garage and three in my storage shed. The hardest part is finding the trusses so you get a secure anchor in wood. Once that is achieved, it's a simple matter of putting the pieces together. The installation in the shed with bare rafters was much easier. The height can be adjusted to accommodate different spaces. I can't recommend these highly enough, especially for the price.

These are great ceiling mount racks. I used 4 mounted side by side along the front of the garage, above the garage door. They were relatively easy to install, but a bit time consuming. The instructions have you drive in a setting nail prior to using the lag screws on the ceiling mounts, but hammering in a nail around the bracket while on a ladder looking up is not an easy task. I found it easier just to measure, mark, and pre-drill the holes for the lag bolts. My studs were 24 inches apart, which makes it 24 inches between the support beams. I simply mounted all of the support beams, then assembled the shelves across, one by one. I was concerned about the shelves that met directly in between two support beams, but the zip ties included seem to work just fine.

When I first reviewed this product on line I thought perfect this seems easy so I bought 2. The first one took me a couple of hrs. Finding the studs in the ceilings and measuring a straight line can be challenging. Needless to say this is easy to install once you have your measurements outlined. My second unit only took half the time as the first to install. This holds up to 250lbs so I kept that in mind when storing.

I needed extra space for Christmas decorations, autumn decorations, etc. so I purchased these Ceiling Storage Units. It says they're 75% pre-assembled but that's not accurate, I don't believe. However, at 63 years old I was able to install them entirely by myself. It took me more that the 1 hour they propose, but I did not do either of them all at once. I would do a little on the storage unit installation, then go to class or do something else. Climbing on the ladder makes my feet tired. There was nothing difficult at all about the installation. The containers shown are the smaller ones, 10 gallons, I think. And each would hold 12. I wouldn't try to put a huge container up there by myself, so that's perfect for me.

It was easy to install, just as advertised. I put this in my laundry room/storage closet and it has certainly made the room seem less cluttered. I was able to get a lot of stuff off the floor that I previously had no place else to put it. Verry handy.

Great product, but......somewhat misleading packaging claim of 75% pre-assembled is incorrect. There is NO part of this that pre-assembled unless they are counting welding! Works perfect & clears a lot of room on the floor. Allows for some creative license when rafters don't run the same way in an area. Will purchase a few more to maximize the product!

I have installed a number of "hyloft" mostly in 45" x 45" for my clients and they all worked great. It'll become very sturdy after all parts are put together, very light weight and easy to put up. It's a great and inexpensive way to create extra storage quickly.

This unit was easy to install, and it holds a lot of boxes.

The actual racks are a bit flimsy but all in all the mounted great.

Easy installation that allows for inexact measurements when dealing with rafters and sloping concrete. Looks and works well.

The hardest part of the project was finding a stud finder to work well on the ceiling.

I love this product. I now have eight of these racks. It has created more free floor space in my garage for other projects.

Shelving mounting brackets thin. Once installed unit seems very shaky compared to other brands I've installed. Hesitant to put much weight on this shelving.

These went up beautifully. It is exactly what I thought it would be. Need to order one more them that project is completed.
