This was the third Hunter Mariner fan that I have purchased and installed in my homes. They are quiet, reliable and not too difficult to install. I was so pleased with the first ones that did not even look at any other fans.

The fans are great didn’t realize that the rings that go around them are plastic so those are going to yellow over time I guess we can spray paint them when they do.

This is a real outdoor fan. The motor has small...
This is a real outdoor fan. The motor has small fins around the outside to dissipate heat instead of vent openings that could allow water or insects to enter. The blades are plastic instead of composite material so they won't start to sag in a couple of years. I used a 6" down rod instead of the two very short options included. I've had very good luck with Hunter fans over many years and they are reasonably priced.

Good out of box, easy to install. Have 2 other Hunters in the house for three years working well. These should do well in a 3 season porch next year.
