Great thermostat for low temperature applications like my tent trailer. It was perfect for this application that required a simple on/off switch and low temperature settings.

It was supposed to maintain a temperature of as low as 35° The lowest temperature it will maintain is 45°. I replaced a much more satisfactory thermostat with this Not pleased

It does exactly what I need it to do

Thermostat was easy to install and functions well. The lower temperature range should save me a lot in heating costs in my workshop

This Thermostat works very well in the normally cold environment of our barn this winter. The temperature can drop to almost freezing before our propane gas furnace turns on, saving on fuel costs. I can also turn it off (no heat) if I would not be working in the space.

Easy too install and works good.

Thermostat was purchased for an out bldg not used all the time, yes it has worked out perfectly keeping the temperature set low

Easily installation and product performs. There was no desire to spend more $ for complicated mobile control but it finding a nicely styled/basic 24v thermostat replacement is getting harder to find. So far its great!

I would give it 4.5 starts if I could. The thermostat is affordable and does what I need it to do (provide a low temperature setting in the garage), but I do find it hard to accurately set the temperature. The slider at the bottom is a guess and I had to use a separate thermometer for precision.

Work's the way it's supposed to.

All mechanical with no displays or batteries is the perfect design for a cold garage thermostat, and I really appreciate the on-off switch too so that the unit is completely OFF and not just on it’s lowest setting.

Easy two wire hookup. Was looking for a shop thermostat. Lowest setting is 35* which is perfect to keep things from freezing when unoccupied .

Simple installation. Pay attention to wire color and wire connection to old thermostat. Directions with new thermostat were a good guide to correct wire connection.

We were searching for thermostats to keep an aircraft hangar around 40 degrees. This fit the bill. Easy to install and the instructions were clear. Works great and wasn’t too expensive. Happy with this purchase.

I got three of them. One had a broken heat/off switch out of the box, but it still worked fine. I just use the breaker switch to shut it off. The other two were fine. One of the only ones on the market that go down to 35 degrees which is perfect for a garage shop

The unit works perfectly and will reduce drastically fuel consumption for my out building.

Difficult to understand the temperature that thermostat is set to. Especially at low temperature.

I bought a couple of these to initiate backup electric heat at 39 degrees - via relays - in case of gas furnace failure in an empty house. It is difficult to find digital thermostats that do not rely on puny batteries or that can be trusted not to change their default settings in a power outage, if dual powered. Temperature coordination with the furnace thermostat was essential. Calibration is the main weakness of this and all mechanical thermostats. To find my desired 39 degree setting, it was necessary to take them outside on a 39 degree day, orient them as they will be mounted, force fan them to ensure they reached that temperature and slowly move the setting until they switched on. Then mark the positions in ink. The positions on the two thermostats when set varied slightly, so I would not necessarily trust that the minimum is 35 degrees in every case. I believe some possibly very inconvenient experimentation will always be necessary to find where to set them. Other than that caveat, I believe they will be OK.
