We need a filter that is 17.5 x 17.5. Home Depot is the only place I can find it. I've never had any issues with this product and will continue to get the Honeywell Brand. There is another brand available but this one is definitely a better quality filter.

It was the wrong size - i need a 12in. x25in product. i wish i could find this size as my HAVC duct opening has that size. Did not return it because by trying to fit it into the duct opening, i bent the filter.......

Happy to find the right size filter, that fits the A/C unit.

The filters were about an inch larger than ordered and would not fit. Home Depot apologized and offered a full refund but this didn't do me any good. I had already waited three weeks to get these so I decided to just trim it down on my own.

Took a little time to process the custom size but the filters are a great fit.

I received the two filters and both of them were bent.

The product was flimsy and not what I expected at all. The order read 10 and for the price I thought I was getting 10 filters but only got one cheap looking air filter. I will not buy them from Home Depot again.

I am really glad this is available at a reasonable cost in the EXACT measurements needed. We also installed air purifier units inside the house in several rooms at the same time, so I can't exactly say if this helped, but why would you not get one if you needed to work on removing allergens? I did some research and read that having a house filter is the MOST effective way to get rid of allergens. We have a cat inside with TWO of us being allergic, so that is why we got this filter. So far, so good! Would recommend trying this first before buying units but I wanted to really make a difference. I know my son no longer sneezes nearly as much as he did before!!!

The only issue I had was when the order came in for pick up the size was not correctly marked on the package. It resulted in sending it back thinking it was the wrong size. Apparently the special size when ordered is just stuck in another sized box without being updated. When it came in the second time like that we (the store customer service person and I) measured it and the size was correct. Just not correctly marked on the package.

These have greatly reduced the amount of dust in m y home! Wish I have been using these for years!

This is an excellent air filter for cleaning the air when you have allergies. It is much better than the low priced ones or the mesh scrubby pad type.

Filters are very easy to install and the price was good! Hope to be able to order the micro filters next time we're not available with this order

Trust and believe...I checked. Everywhere. Finally had to cave and order it online. Yes, you should buy the 5 or 10 Pack, save yourself from all this hassle

This filter is the best one from this manufacturer and noticeable performance after installation. Its a bit costly however works alright. I would definitely buy it again.

There is a big difference between these #10 filters & normal #4's. Less dust, removes odors & smoke too

The filter works fine. This brand typically does. HOWEVER the more "custom" sizes (the ones not available in most stores) are inaccurately sized. the 10x10x1 filter I ordered was 9.5x9.75x1. I had to cobble together extenders from the old filter so the thing would stay in. The other filter I ordered was too large by half an inch on one side and needed to be jammed into place. As well, the new pricing is infuriating. $20 regardless of the size? It's almost worth having 2 new filter vents put in with standard sizes so I'm not trapped custom ordering these filters.

Due to the size (14X18X1) almost all of the good air filters needs to be ordered online unless you want a flimsy no good, non allergy absorbent one. It did take a while to ship but I ordered quite a few of them (5) so that I didn't have to keep ordered every 3 months for a new one. They were packed in a slim box together and arrived with no dents. All in all I would recommend this product. Stock up if you also have a problematic air filter size.

Simple to install and fits perfect in my condo return

The filter is used by our whole house air distribution system, not our furnace, since we don't have a furnace as such. We heat using hot water, which requires no air distribution. We do, however, humidify the air in our home in winter and cool the air in our home in summer, which does require air movement and filtration. The filter our system uses is a larger size not carried in our local Home Depot store, so we were guided to Home Depot's online ordering system, which was able to provide just what we needed.

I use to always wake up coughing and stuff up in the night because of allergies and mild asthma. After installing the elite filter it almost immediately went away.

This filter does not remove cigarette smoke as stated. It is an odd size (16x16") hard to find,and cost $21.00; approx. 3 times the amount charged for larger filters by the hardware stores.

Very poor construction. Made for Home Depot. So flimsy I was thought they would collapse in the return air

The product did not fit and was too large. I had to go online to another retailer and order a more appropriate product from another company. Don't buy this filter since it may not fit. The filter I did buy from an alternate source was slightly smaller and worked well

works very well in this dry, dusty southwest climate. Great with pets too.

Thought the price was a little much, but they are good filters.

I was having sever allergy problems and I could tell the difference the day after I put the filter in. My allergy problems were substantially diminished.
