Because I have allergies to dust, mold, animal dander, etc. I bought these filters to replace the standard filters in my apartment home air conditioner. I really notice the difference.

After carefully removing the protective plastic wrap, the air filter emerged from its polyethylene cocoon ready to do its sacred duty - filtering air. Upon sliding into its 14 x 18 x 1 inch niche in the air return plenum, the filtering began. And it was glorious. Microscopic bits of dander, dust and dirt were miraculously captured - only allowing life-giving oxygen to circulate. So, if you like breathing, but not particulates - this is the product for you!

The Honeywell Air Filter was easy to install, finished in 5 minutes. A real money saver as it costs $75 to have a HVAC tech walk in the door. Absolutely no reason not to DIY, regardless of your handyman skills.

Does everything but hang up the cloths. We needed a new dryer and ended up with both dry and washing machine. It is something we really needed.

Been buying home air filters from HD for four years now. Since they don't carry the one that I use anymore, I had to order online. Cost more. More hassle than it is worth. It was delivered in a huge over-sized box (one little 30x12x1 filter)... what a waste! Then, it had obviously been repackaged. I had to pick it up at the store in order to avoid shipping charges. I think HD has surely lost a customer due to always being out of what I need.

I ordered this filter to help my get rid of the excess dust and cat hair in the home I just moved into. So far I have had the carpets cleaned and vacuumed excessively and have been running the heat/air as needed. I am not sure if the filters helped clean out the excess dust though.

These things are terrible. They are flimsy and end up getting pulled into the A/C unit. Not substantial at all. Would definitely not recommend. Returning my 2 filters ASAP for a full refund.
