This is the same filter that came with the system so I haven't changed it yet, I just installed it a week and a half ago. The density of this filter will trap pretty much ANY THING! Water in the house is nice and clear!

It help keep all metals from drinking water and extends the life of our appliances.

We have horrendous water and this system makes it livable.

It does exactly what it is suppose to do, stop sediment.

It works like a charm! I have a well so I change mine every three months. I have no sediment issues what so ever. The price is right also!

I have to replace this filter almost every month. Our city water is pretty bad so maybe if you live in a place where the city water is not as bad as Philly, this is OK.

Yes, It's very nice to only have to change water filters on an annual basis. These seem to do exactly what is expected, remove the finest of particles from the well water before it enters my home.

This is a replacement filter for the whole house system I bought about 18 months ago. The system is working very well and the replacement filter is doing its job to pre-filter the minerals, etc. No problems with the system or replacement filters. I would recommend

The Perfect Water Technologies water filters work great. These specific filers remove the sediment and when used in combination with the iron and carbon filters my well water is crystal clear. The multi gradient filtering does not significantly reduced water pressure.

I have had the water filtration system for almost three years now, and have replaced the filters twice. This filter is the most important for my application because of all of the sediment that comes from my well. Removal is simple with the wrench provided with the original filter and housing purchase and the inlet and outlet isolation valves I installed with it. I discovered the assemblies are a bit heavy, so when they come unthreaded, the motion is not completely controlled, so I keep a bucket under the housing when removed. the O-ring seals effectively seal and have remained in great condition. When I installed the system, the shower had a lot of red stains on the tiles that I had to scrub off. They have not come back. I am fully satisfied with what this filter has done for me along with the iron filter in the second stage.
