I'm not sure how these can be considered stain ready doors when there is an 1/8” gap between the rail and stile. I can't install this in anyone’s home like this.

not stain ready . wood had glue spots that would not accept stain, would not sand off

They work well in my condo which has limited space and tight hall / counter issues. Put them on my bedroom, bathroom, and closet doors. I did add knobs to the reverse sides of the doors that would be utilized from both sides. Stained easily. Installation OK - I had help. Not super sturdy but I appreciate the light weight for easier shipping and install.

The doors were very easy to install and adjust. We really like the spring system in the top track. It makes for a solid close and easy opening. We did purchase some fancier knobs.

Lightweight but very nice doors for a laundry area and bathroom closet. The wood came in very good shape and didn't require any major sanding. It has a nice grain and no ugly knotty places. The louvred and non-louvred doors are a perfect match. I'm really glad I went with wood over the PVC or plastic version.

Overall I am happy with this door but took off a star because the front did need sanding before painting. I will be ordering more to replace my closet doors.

These doors worked out nicely for us. The quality is decent and just fine for a closet door. No problems with installation, except for using existing top hardware from our previous door.

Door had splits and needed repair.

Not quite ready for stain. Red glue squeeze at several joints is very hard to remove without gouging the wood. I wouldn’t buy this door again.

This door is great. I stained it to match trim and it turned out really nice. Installation was EASY! I am ordering another one. I highly recommend.

Ordered wrong door first time, no problems with return reordered second door right size everything looks great. Has not been installed yet but I don't see a problem in the future with the installation

I wouldn't call this product stain ready, there were glue areas that couldn't be sanded out. The product came banded that created indentations in the doors that couldn't be sanded out. Last issue was the installation instructions didn't come with rough opening demensions making it a bit more involved. Doors seem ok, not the most expensive so I guess you get what you pay for.

The center panels of the door would accept stain, but I couldn't get the frame or the horizontal pieces between the panels to take it. Maybe I did something wrong. Can't use the door now. Too bad, because it looked nice to start with.

We purchased these doors to convert to french doors in a Jack &Jill bath. The quality of the doors is excellent and they appear to be very sturdy.

The door was just what I wanted until my contractor said that a bi-fold door would work in the location for which I had ordered it.
