I ordered two of these for a room, and the top of one shade kept falling— it is adhered by a sticky plastic panel and would not stay stuck. So I called customer service, returned it and ordered a replacement. Meanwhile the other shade for the other window did the same thing. It is completey disfunctional and a waste of time and money. Cheaply made product. Will be returning again.

Thankfully an employee in the department was available and helpful. The shades were custom cut (width) to fit an interior mount. He also advised me that I could online order the bottom handle for the since they do not have them in the store. A Plus was that the price was reasonable. I installed the shades myself. Not difficult but would have been easier if the directions were printed large enough to see some details. That was a negative. In the end I was happy with the purchase, especially after I spray painted the brackets to match the header that was exposed in my application of the shades. Bought the shades a week ago so time will tell if these shades continue to work...

Easy to install, attractive and functional. Price was in line with other brands.

Much like other reviewers, these were up for less than a week before I experienced the shade coming apart from the top.

Poor quality. Bought 3 shades and all fell apart from header within 2 days.

Purchased 4 of these shades. 3 of these have already separated from the upper bar (top down). One completely separated and dropped to the bottom of the window (returned this item). Two more have partially separated from the bar on the back side of the bar. The shade is attached to the upper bar by a small adhesive strip. We have pressed the shade back onto the adhesive strip and will see if it holds. If it fails again I will return all of them. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

One of the blinds failed . The pleat came loose from the top frame. I did return and reorder new. Have not reinstalled it yet.

I love this product The employee who was first cutting it was clueless he only cut it on one side instead of taking off half the difference on both sides When I tried to explain to him that was incorrect he got belligerent. He is supposedly a supervisor Another employee came along an cut two new ones. And they fit perfectly. I’m not sure of her name. She should be the supervisor

Salesman, James, or store associate I should say James was phenomenal help and the following day another young lady, which I didn’t know the name we had to make an adjustment or two was superb as well

This was a replacement for an existing shade. The existing shade lasted 4 years on a barely used window. The strings were easily frayed, causing the shade to be inoperable. I only purchased this replacement so that it would match the other 7 windows that have the same manufacturer and style.

Every single one of these that we have installed has come unglued from the top. Thankfully some glue and the world becomes round again; though I feel the price should reflect this. Takes about a week to get, too

The top down bottom up blinds from Home Decorators Collection are very poor in quality. Have had no issues with the blackout version, but the quality of the light filtering shade is noticeable worse and has now broken multiple times within a week of being installed. I ordered replacements after the first pair detached from the head rail after one week of hanging. The glue that holds the cellular fabric does not hold. The replacement pair also failed within 24 hours.
