Very happy with the shades. They look great and are very smooth to operate. A couple of things to note: 1) When ordering, be sure to verify the actual dimension of the shade versus the size you need. I was informed that the shade was 1/2" shorter than the requested size. Unfortunately, it was actually only 3/8" shorter, resulting in having to go back to the store to have them cut a bit shorter; and 2) Installation was both easy and fussy. Easy in that the instructions were very clear. Fussy in that, while simple to mount the brackets, snapping the shades onto the brackets required a bit of maneuvering.

Lovely looking light filtering shade. The Snow Drift color lets a LOT of light in and is perfect. You can't see inside at night with the light on but there are shadows. Installing was a little tricky but if you have done similar before you should have no problem. Much less expensive than the custom order name brands but very well made. I would buy again if I needed more. My only complaint is that they don't have a handle at the bottom rail so you can lift up. You have to grab at the ends. If they don't include with the hardware at the very least you should be able to buy something somewhere to remedy this. That is the reason for the 4 stars, otherwise I would have given this a 5 star rating.

These blinds work well for our limited budget. This is not a high-end product choice since the blind ends look to be inexpensive vinyl/plastic, but it is a good budget option for large honeycomb blinds. During installation, the blind tops were difficult to snap into the holder. But for a product that is cordless and honeycomb, it's a decent product and slides up and down smoothly. Time will tell how long they hold up. The custom-cut sizing worked out well, and they were shipped in a timely manner. Color choices and lengths were limited but okay. The blinds could use a little notch or handle to hold on to help when sliding.

After price comparing, we decided to purchase at Home Depot. The product seemed great for our needs, and the price was very reasonable. We needed 8 cordless cellular shades for our sun porch. My husband recently finished installing all 8 of them, and they look very nice. They let the light filter in, and go up and down so easy! There were just small 2 problems. The instructions did not explain very well, how to snap the rail into place. Our son had done it before, so he had to come over and show my husband how to do it. Also, some boxes, had 3 brackets included, and some only had 2 brackets. All in all, it was a good experience and we are extremely pleased.

YOU WILL HATE INSTALLING THIS UNLESS YOU READ THE REVIEWS AND LEARN HOW TO BEND THE BRACKETS. The brackets come with the back 'clip' bent waaaaay to far up. I was on the verge of returning the whole bunch as I skimmed down through all the furious reviews saying the install was impossible and the instructions were useless. I found a review that explained how you have to bend the latch. Then it was reasonably easy. They look fine.

This was fairly easy to install. After reading other reviews, I just bent the clips a little with a screw driver and it popped right in. I tested one of these to see how they are quality wise and I was impressed. Nothing super fancy, but they get the job done. I would recommend for sure and there is a lot of savings over other options out there.

Here is help with getting the bracket to work. I believe that the reason many people have trouble with mounting the blind to the brackets is that the "lip" sticks out too far from the factory. The tolerances on the bracket are tight and the lip has to go all the way around and snap into the bottom edge at the back of the "header" piece. From the factory the lip cannot reach that far. Solution: Using a flat object or pliers press the lip back permanently. See right-side image. (The left-side is how it is from the factory). This gives the lip more length vertically and should now reach the bottom edge of the header piece when attaching. Also open the blind 1/4" and stick your thumb in there so that the cell material does not get caught when the lip snaps into place. Using your thumb at the back pushing upward, (rather than fingers) gives more leverage and will snap in easier.

These shades were cut perfectly. They look great in my bedroom. I love that they have no strings. They slide up and down easily. The only down side is they were very difficult to hang. Putting up the brackets was easy enough if you have a power drill/screwdriver, but actually snapping the shade into the brackets was very difficult. Maybe there's a trick to it that I don't know about, but that's why I gave it 4 stars instead if 5.

This shade is exactly what I needed. I have a beautiful leaded glass window on the front door but wanted to cover it at night for privacy. The product was mounted just above the window. Since both the door and the shade are white, when the shade is open the header virtually disappears. I like that it doesn't have any hardware like strings or wands as it would ruin the look. The shade fits perfectly. The picture with the shade closed turned out a little yellow, sorry.

Beautiful product at a great price. My shade is 70" wide and required 4 clips (supplied in the box). It took some careful measuring and drilling, and then the shade clicked right into place and has been a wonderful addition to my living room. Functions smoothly, feels very well constructed. I've had the shade for around 2 months.

Like everyone else, my husband (an engineer) had an awful time clipping the shades onto the terrible brackets. To add to the problem, the end clips did not fit properly, resulting in one getting cracked. And this was after I had to return one of the 4 shades we bought because the shade cutter in the store massacred one of the shades' metal ends so that it was terribly uneven and the plastic end clip wouldn't stay on. The shades do glide up and down easily and really stay put. I was afraid they wouldn't work well on our 30 yr. old windows, but they are fine. They look nice, but came at the cost of a lot of aggravation.

The brackets don't fit at all. I have installed many of these shades and these were horrid. It took one person to hold the blind in place and another to push up from underneath with a screwdriver to snap it in place. It finally worked but it was too difficult. I will never purchase these again! They did operate ok.

Looks much higher priced than they were
These cellular shades fit perfectly into our little log cabin and upped the classy factor a ton. They look completely custom, provide a bit more insulation than the older cheap roller shades they were replacing. Only challenge is that the instructions for installation could be a bit better, but otherwise very very happy with our purchase.

            Perfect Solution for Our Windows
These cut-to-width light filtering shades were the perfect solution for our room. We had strong light coming in one window in the morning and strong light coming in the other window in the afternoon. We measured and then ordered the two shades. They were perfect and precisely the right size when we received them. Installation was easy - and the clips that hold the header bar were sturdy and easy to insert the shades into. The only thing we had a slight challenge with were the end caps - took a bit of thinking to try a different method of getting them in the header and footer bars. The photo is showing the two shades closed and the light filtering effect. We looked at both room darkening shades and these - and - for our needs and desires, these are perfect. The brand is also a good value - there are more expensive shades and also thicker shades - but these fit our needs and budget.

Nice blind. Good service at store. Horrible brackets
Selected at store. Associate was quick and efficient trimming to size. Brackets poor quality, but installed them ok. Could not get blind to fit in brackets. After considerable effort trying to snap blind in place, removed brackets. Tried to pre-fit them, but there was no way they were going to work. Got out tin snips and pliers. Re-mounted brackets. Still not right, but the blind is hanging there. Don't plan on raising/lowering it much, so maybe it will be ok.

            New blinds on a budget
We love the way these new blinds look, and we especially love that there are no longer any cords. I only used two screws on each bracket because our windowsill was really hard to get them into. However, I replaced six blinds in less than 2 hours without my husband's help and they are sturdy without all three screws. They move up and down smoothly. We got parchment colored, and just a heads up that they are white on the backside. It works for our house but might not for everyone. Getting these cut in the store took quite a bit longer than it should have. We waited almost 10 minutes for someone to help us and setting the cutting blade wasn't an exact science. I'm not sure the employee had a lot of experience cutting them, and from the time I picked the blinds up (had to order online to get our color) to when we walked out of the store was a good half hour. Despite that, I'd still get them again.

            Awesome blinds
These blinds were easy to install using only a portable drill/screwdriver. I love the spring-loaded suspension which keeps the blinds at the desired height without using pull cords which are prone to slippage. A nice match for the curtains!

shade for behind shutters, just right!
I needed a cellular shade that was 1/1/2 to 1 3/4 width of the case housing, HD had both as the 1 /12 I need 6. Very nice shade for the money, My wife wanted more privacy for the back door windows, just right, I needed to add some mounting blocks for the door one and that gave me enough clearance!

            Great product and great price
Love my new shades!!! They look great in my sunroom. They were easy to install and color matched perfectly. I did all 7 shades by myself in less than 3 hours. It would have been less time but the first shade took me longer as it took me awhile to figure out I did not have the 2 brackets that screwed into the frame for holding the shades up in alignment. The other 6 went much better after that. Home Depot did a great job in cutting them and shipping them to me! Thank y'all so much!!

            Worked Great for different application.
We purchased this blind to address a constant problem with a bathroom skylight that made the bathroom way too hot in the summer. After looking at a number of expensive products specifically designed to be installed with name brand skylights we decided to the cost were too high for our summer home. Then we looked at this cellular blind and decided to try it horizontally instead of vertically. I worked just fine due to the narrow span of the skylight and the wood trim already there made a perfect track. We just added a small hook and use a hook on a small pole to adjust as needed. Looks like a custom job. Done in just a few minutes
