I love, love, love this bench. I bought two of them for each end of a rustic farmhouse table and I could not be happier. For months I searched in stores and online for some affordable benches with a handmade, one-of-a-kind look. This bench was the answer! Other reviewers complained about characteristics of this bench which are indicative of a hand-made piece, but these quirks are what make this bench special! If you want cookie cutter furniture look elsewhere. Bench is strong, heavy and beautiful.

Had my eye on this bench for months for our beach house. It is unique, quality and just perfect for the space I needed it for. Looks like something that was found in an eclectic antique shop. IT IS PERFECT. Highly recommended!

I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but luckily the piece I received had no cracks or flaws and is not flimsy at all. It arrived fully assembled, is well made and quite beautiful.

I have been looking for a small bench to fit in my livingroom for quite awhile. Most small benches were very basic with not much archiectural interest.The moment I saw this bench I was so relieved that I had subbornly waited until the perfect peice came my way! It is beyond beautiful! The price would have not mattered, when you finally find the perfect peice you get it. As luck would have it, Home Decorators was offering 30% off and free shipping! The bench arrived in perfect condition (the packaging was excellent). Sometimes its hard to judge on how substatial a peice can be just by pictures. I am very pleased on how sturdy this bench is. Interesting piece... We placed it in front of a window looking out to the pool deck. Some of the spindles rotate, others are stationary. I hope it is durable. Not a comfortable piece, but we didn't buy it for comfort. It is an interesting piece which we expect will draw attention from our guests. Shipping was too expensive, but it was well packed.

I was worried about any damage during shipment (as it was shipped assembled)but it came intact without any damages. It gives an elagant look to our living room

OMG it's so beautiful !!! I wish it was more bigger like a loveseat,specially the hight.When i mixed and matched with my living room sofa and loveseat it looks little smaller and unproportionate.But the piece itself is just unique !Instead of mix match with regular sofa it can be use in entryway or as a bedroom sitting area.

Just got the delivery. The item was damaged. One of the legs is cracked and looks like the craftsman tried to fix it. Also, one of the panels has a crack.You can see where the craftsman tried to glue the crack and varnish over it. it's big enough to be visible

I was looking for a love seat or settee to complete my living room. I kept coming back to this piece. I am so happy with the purchase. My living room opens up into the entryway and dining area, so I wanted a piece that would look just as beautiful from the front as it does from the back. This settee definitely nailed it. It works with my Moroccan theme wonderfully. Obsessed.

I LOVED the look of this settee and the size was perfect for where I wanted to place it. Upon unpacking, we discovered that a spindle under the seat was broken off and missing. Contacted Home Decorators and they were investigating to see if a spindle could be sent and a discount applied for me to hire someone to repair it. Over the holidays, a guest sat down on the settee and we heard a loud cracking sound. The seat part developed a horizontal crack running almost the entire length of the seat. Our guest was a man of average build, not overweight and he was the only person sitting on the bench.

We put this bench in our entryway & are absolutely pleased with its look and construction.

truly a MAHARAJA piece...this is so awesome, elegant and grandeur...a must have item. I am looking for a small side table that goes with it, as I have settee and a single chair as a set...so fantastic!!!

Was apprehensive how this indian-style settee would look with our 'distinguished country style' decor, but was pleasantly surprised. This lovely piece lightened the whole look, providing a sense of subtle whimsy and worldliness. Beautiful woodwork details.

Love this bench! Sturdy and beautiful, arrived in perfect shape, very well packed.

I wondered about how the piece would look in real--after looking at it in the catalogue. It does not need to be assembled ( yay!) and looks just so beautiful. I love handcarving and this piece is a showcase by itself although I combined it with the coffee table and the maharaja chair and the nesting tables. These are not plush sofa like pieces for lounging but work beautifully as accents and look magnificent . The wood quality and all is very good.

Overall, a solid, beautiful peice of furniture. My only disappointment was that some of the spindles on the backrest were noticeably too short and could be moved up and down.
