Looks good and easy to install

I was pleased with the look, the quality and the price of the product I purchased. This is the second purchase I have made of this kind.

First thing, before installing these blinds, do not use the screws that come with the blinds. Before you leave Home Depot go to the hardware section and get matching screws. The screws that come with the blinds will break. Now with that out of the way, the blinds are very easy to install (Providing you purchased better screws.) The blinds look great and are very functional. We love the finished product.

These are just beautiful. They match our cabinets, were easy to install and give the kitchen a nice glow.

First, the Sign In option on your pick list should be first not last. The actual width of this product is confusing. One page says one thing, another says another size that implies it is 1/2" shorter. Fix it. So I ordered the "correct" width. When I went to install, discovered I needed to trim off an inch (see previous sentence). No problem, I have a big table saw. But when I evened up one end I noticed the other end was cut ragged. Apparently the blinds slipped when you guys cut them. And you did cut them. And if I hadn't trimmed them they would have looked really bad once installed. These blinds were to replace the same brand blinds but apparently some engineer decided to move the mounting holes about the distance of the diameter of the original holes. Can't redrill the holes. So now the screws go in at angle that gets progressively worse as they are screwed in. Now to the screws. Slotted screws cannot be driven by power. The bit will inevitably slip out of the slot. And not everyone has a set of sockets. So please, for the sake of all the weekend warriors out there, use Philips screws. Otherwise these are great blinds. A good value for the money. I would purchase again. Hopefully I won't have to.

To put it bluntly, these blinds are garbage for +$50 each. Very poor quality of manufacture, from the quality of the wood and the slot cut on the valance disintegrating on the first try putting the clips on it, to the deficiencies of the notches cut on the wood slats being too shallow that the slats, to the poor quality of the metal on the screws used to mount the brackets stripping ridiculously fast, because the metal is too soft.

I had small windows 17x26 that needed blinds. This was my only non custom local choice. First let me start by saying they were only cut on one side by the Home Depot employee. It was obvious after finally finding one that he didn't want to do it at all. So the bottom piece has the stain missing from one side only and the cords are not centered because of this. It is not noticeable unless you are really looking at it close up, but just an observation. I had to shorten the blinds from 48" to 26" which was time consuming. You have to shorten the cords on both sides and the plastic piece that holds the 4 cords that raise and lower the blinds is a piece of junk.If you don't get it just right, it wont stay closed. If you do, it won't stay closed long term. Luckily my daughter wears braces, so I used those tiny rubber bands to keep it closed. The caps in the bottom slat are hard to remove and almost impossible to get back in once you shorten the blinds. It was a lesson in patience. They look ok and work ok and they aren't plastic on the plus side. Would I purchase them again? Not if I had another choice that wasnt over $100 for each window.

Online ordering was easy, and measurements as delivered were accurate. Easy to install. Slats are somewhat thin, some minor warping on some of them, but for the price, the overall look is quite nice. Two thumbs up!

Amazing product

We purchased these wooden blinds to replace older vinyl mini blinds in the living room and we love them! They were fairly easy to install and we were so happy with the look that we added them to the bedrooms as well. If the size needed is not in store, you can order online.

purchased 4 of the golden oak 2" basswood blinds and if wasn't for then being the perfect color my wife was looking for i would have taken them back to home depot. first off the holes on the mounting brackets were too small for the screws to fit through. ok, i drilled the holes out for the screws to fit. next, i drill my pilot holes into an oak frame, 1/8" to fit a 3/16" screw. snapped off 3 screws( really cheap foreign made screws ) flush with the frame. can't get them out so drill new pilot holes and use my own screws. after several choice words went flying the house i finally had them installed. i have to admit they do look good and everything else seems to work, just hope they last.

Item fit exactly into window after it was trimmed by Home Depot at no charge. It completely shut out the light since it does not have holes where the strings go through the blinds. It was just as I expected, a quality product and very well built.

I ordered two custom cut blinds. One was cut correctly, but the other wasn't cut to specification. It was 3/8 to wide. I had to return it. I will attempt to replace it, but that means re-ordering the blind online instead of just having Home Depot cut it on site like they used to in the past.

The finish is very bad not like the display at the store

I didn't like the color too much to begin with, it doesn't look natural but I needed something quick so this was my only option. The main issue with the blinds is that they don't work, they're not made of the best quality. It gets stuck at one point and you can not pull them up or down properly. If I were you I'd look for a better quality blinds.

Very bad I bought this because it's fallen down all the blind from track not inserted inside threads
