It does not hold much weight. Used it to hold a valance over a shower curtain, it continued to fall.
I had cut some Command Velcro picture hanging strips and attach to ends of rod and wall and that seemed to do the trick.

Great buy! Easy as pie to install! I am using in my laundry area, to hang lightweight items to dry. Be advised, it will not hold much weight, but for my purposes, and for the low price, I am quite satisfied.

When you need it!!
The perfect size (adjustable!) not just for curtains but for any project! Much better quality than other rods for the same price or higher. I did however use one of them for a window curtain underneath my new window shelf with items from Home Depot. Yes a DIY effort but Im pretty proud of myself! I love my Home Depot!

Little bit hard to get to the right size—it is cheap (but is priced cheaply also, so I am fine with it). It looks good and hasn’t fallen once in the 3 months we’ve had it. It has one lightweight curtain on it, and I carefully open it every day.
