in this case you definitely get your money's worth....maybe. there is no center bracket so the rod can hold about 2lbs max...fyi

I wanted the focus to be on my beautiful drapes and I needed a rod that was understated and elegant and this met the need.

They are of great value but I need to return everything In this order. They were too big. How do I go about this?

I knew my curtains were a little heavy, but this is truly a very light weight rod, I would use them only for the sheers or the lightest of curtains. The main reason for only three stars is the middle support hook should also be a bracket. It is nearly impossible to level with the brackets and really is of no support at all.

Your catalog listing was misleading, the description should say that brackets are included. The curtain rods are just what I wanted, however the giant box they were shipped in was a plain silly waste.

They are a little bit flimsy but I had expected that for price. I put sheer panels on them but I wouldn't use them for a heavier curtain.

Nice! My only complaint is that they're best for lightweight sheers. I'm using them for cotton curtains, by no means heavy curtains; at the length I've extended the rods to, about 3.5 feet, they bow noticeably in the middle. Purchase a separate middle bracket if hanging anything but sheers.

Mounting hardware was a bit cheap and the rod itself isn't very substantial, but it was fairly inexpensive. Looks good in our boy's room, but I expect that one good tug will bring everything down sometime in the future.
