We bought this to put our bikes on our Jeep, which we tow behind our motorhome. We felt this would work better than a traditional bike rack because it can be used for other items also such as a large ice chest or firewood. We have only used it on one camping trip so far.

great product, easy to assemble
This cargo carrier was a great buy. The price was very reasonable. It was easy to assemble. I had it together in less than a half hour. It will fit both 1 1/2 or 2 inch hitch openings. I have not used it yet but I know that it will be just perfect. Well made product.

cargo carrier unsatified
I just received this and no problem putting together - My only complaint is dimensions are totally wrong.
On the online when you check the specification you get this below
Dimensions Product Depth (in.) 60.039 Product Width (in.) 28.937 Product Height (in.) 5.511
So the actual dimension are
Dimensions Product Depth (in.) 60.039 Product Width (in.) 19 Product Height (in.) 5.511
So the width is wrong as they say 28.937 and it is really 19" and that is a big different?
I bought this because it said 28" width and now very unsatisfied!

Functional
The cargo carrier is well made, and assembly is not too bad. The hardware it comes with its solid. A third hand would help with assembly though to keep all of the predrilled holes lined up. Just make sure not to tighten everything down until all of the nuts and bolts are started.
The unit is well made and performs well. Definitely worth the price to be able to expand your catfish hauling abilities.

Great Product, Good Price
This hitch haul is absolutely amazing for any adventure. It works great for me when I'm going camping, my mini refrigerator even fits on it. Only thing is that it does not come with a pin to latch the hitch haul to the tow hitch. However, a regular clevis pin is less than $10. I bought a pin with a lock and key for 20$ from Home Depot so no one can steal my hitch haul. Very happy with my purchase.

would not recommend to put to much over its limits, but for the price and what I need it for it's great

Good - the second time around
I put this together, stuck it in the receiver, and it was crooked! The right side was about 4 inches higher than the left. It looked like either the receiver bar or the platform halves were defective. So I contacted the manufacturer and eventually received new platform halves and a new receiver bar free of charge. Thankfully the issue was the platform halves, and with those new parts I was able to make it work, because the new receiver bar I was sent was too big for the receiver - only by a little fraction of an inch, but too big is too big for a receiver bar.
So, it was right in the end, but after a lot of hassle. I also wish they would send some shorter bolts as they stick through so far if using the 1.25" bar.
I really did appreciate the fact that this one came with both 1.25" and 2" receiver bars. In addition, it was one of the few I found that was five feet wide, yet accommodated the smaller 1.25" bar. I mainly got this because I was tired of throwing my Christmas tree on the roof of my car. It worked great for that - so much easier! It worked so well that I also used it for my in-laws' tree and my parents' tree. I can see using it for plenty of other stuff, too.
