Have been using this blower for about a month now. It is very easy use even for our granddaughter. Starts very easily. It is just the right one for our smaller property. Very pleased with the performance and well worth the price.

I had been previously using a blower attachment on another brand Weed Eater. It was clumsy, heavy, took a few times to start up and didn't do what I needed it to do so I decided to upgrade to an actual hand held blower. I needed it to be light, powerful and affordable. I did a LOT of research and the Hitachi seemed to fit the bill. A lot of my decision was based off of reviews like this. So far the product has lived up to the hype. It's super light, very powerful and its doing the job I hoped it would. We'll see if it stands the test of time but as of now, I do recommend this product for DIY homeowner.

This is the best leaf blower I've owned. If starts easily, is well balanced and the engine speed is easy to control. This is a keeper!

I first purchased an EGO 56v battery blower. After 10 minutes at full speed the battery died. After 2 uses, I called their customer and all they wanted to do was sell me a more improved battery for $199.00 which is the same cost of the full unit.. There was no interest on their part to help or satisfy me, their customer. Hence, I packed up the unit and returned for a full refund. After reading the reviews on the Hitachi 2 stroke gas blower, I decided to give it a try...what an outstanding unit. Well made and lightweight. The power of this unit exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier. Starts every time on first pull after pumping the fuel bulb 3 or 4 times. I would recommend this blower to anyone who wants excellent power to get the job done right. Thanks Hitachi for make a well made, reliable and reasonably priced unit. It really does a fantastic job at my home!

I like this Hitachi because it has been easy to start and operate with the trigger control. Compared to the old brand I had it has a lot higher air flow. The noise level is ok. For me it does get a little heavy after using for a few minutes.

I was looking for the greatest air mph force at the lowest price. I own 2 Stihl's and have no complaints. They are the gold standard so far as I am concerned. I do not expect to have to use this Hitachi as much so I decided to cheap out. The old adage that you get what you pay for holds true here. I found this unit hard to start. When it does get going, it performs well, like all the rest.

Easy to start, ran well until it didn't. Primer return line started leaking, then spraying fuel. Replacement difficult because fuel tank attachment bolts were frozen with LocTite. Jury-rigged a fix Z& now it runs fine again.

Blower began as a wonderful outdoor tool. However, less than two years old, and the blower is now defunct. The service options I have are an hour away from me and I am debating whether to "junk" it or to go through with the annoyance of driving it 50 miles away for service.

Even my 6 year old grandson could use it. Starts and works easily. Great blowing power. It really does the job.

I bought this blower from Lowe’s and it is the best blower I have ever bought! It was Hitachi at the time and came with a 7 year warranty, Wow! I don’t understand why it’s being discontinued unless they last so long that buying a new one isn’t needed. They last! Amazing. I just changed the spark plug in it today. I believe I have had it 10 years now. They never got the ink they deserved. What a shame to not produce it anymore.

This little guy really did the job, starting every time, running smoothly, always performing at its peak. It is a shame to see it discontinued and I hope Metabo will bring it, or another one, back on to the market. I highly recommend.

I thought what have I got to lose so I contacted Metabo warranty Dept told them it just stopped working sent along copy of sales receipt.. to my surprise I was quickly sent a shipping label I’d kept the original box so I shipped it out the next day.. less than 3 weeks later I received a new replacement which spoke volumes about Metabo HPT.. I wont hesitate to purchase my next power tool now I know who’s got the best customer service and stands behind their products 110%

Excellent product. It has plenty of power/airflow. Easy to start and operate. Price was great for what you get. I’m confident it will hold up well over the long haul. Very pleased.

I searched for couple of month for a good blower, this one is awesome! Easy to start, lot of air pressure and not to much noisy.

This the best blower on the market. This my second purchase. My first one still runs great! My wife thought we need another. We both use them on our 1 acre heavily tree'd lot. I have never had one once of trouble with this blower. My grandson had researched blowers for his yard service in the Dallas, TX area. This is the one that was the best. He was correct!

I bought this HITACHI blower about 1 1/2 year ago from a local store. It worked very well from that time untill about two weeks ago. I could just pull the cord about 2-3 times and it would fire up! It had a lot of power from blowing the grass and debris from the yard. Once about 2 weeks ago I had to pull the cord about 8 times to start and still it did not. I did this on 4 different times on different days. No success. I even changed the spark plug. The tank had fresh gas in it. Still would not start. Just wasted $3.00 for a new spark plug. I thought the spark plug was not the issue anyways but I purchased on still. Now i am send this discontinued model to Georgia for repairs. There was no factory location near me in Rock Hill, SC. I really lik this blower. It had very good force in blowing. When I had issues getting it to start, I knew there was a problem. This never happened before. This is a discontinued model. I hope I am given a new one of more or similar quality. Model # RB 24 EAP.

Got a green weed wacker and starts up all the time And this blower does the same No Problem Very powerful and light weight --Price was right----

Uses less than 1 hour total and return fuel line from primer bulb had or developed just above area where it fits into fuel tank. As it is a odd size I could not find a replacement, For a low cost item figured why call in for warranty replacement. Called in to customer service to be told it is not covered under the 7 YEAR warranty--What? Told to take it to repair shop or pay for replacement fuel hose plus shipping.No thanks> On top of that person gave me wrong part number thinking I could get on line. Now new blower sitting on garage bench. What kind of warranty and customer service is that?

This is the second one I have the first one still works good. I had a problem sent it back they fixed under warranty. Great product and they stand behind it

Very quiet and the blower works very well even when idling. I have large and small projects and dry and wet areas and it works both very well.

This blower has good power, is light and easy to handle and was the right price.
