This is a fantastic tool. I got it to install roof decking, sheathing and build shipping crates. A few thousand staples so far, no issues. I used the great grandfather of this tool as an apprentice, a 30 year old Hitachi. Flick of the wrist, follow the rafter and you have a staple every 4 inches. I miss the metal magazine but plastic is lighter and doesn't rust. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

This stapler is great. I used it to install siding. It no doubt allowed me to go at least 4X faster than using the traditional hammer and nail method.

I have been using metabo staplers for years and find their build quality excellent. They take a lot of abuse on the construction site but still fire consistiently.

Have had these on the job site for a while now without any issues feels really good in the hand and is light enough to run up and down the roofs with all day definitely ba must on the framing sight

I use this tool to fasten plywood on roof, Is light, powerfull, and the most important, (For me) NO JAMS !!! and no staples stuck on the magazin, I like this tool, don't forget to pour Oil on it.

Ashamedly I often use it like a hammer to microadjust roof & wall sheathing into place & it still keeps ticking! Not recommending to do this but just affirming it's quality & durability! It even works well in freezing weather too! I have other brands that will freeze up but this girl keeps firing! It only jams when you hit a harder object than the Staple itself like the head of a nail, etc. & they are quick & easy to unjam! My only complaint is I wish the rubber grip was thicker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best imo staplers I’ve used. Highly recommend it. It doesn’t come with a rafter hook, which it should, but i added one later. You won’t regret it.

Any pressure on the trigger causes massive amounts of air to escape even when not shooting a staple.

Just bought it this morning because my other staplers broke and this was the only one in town. Doing a vinyl siding job and the tip for this gun is horrible for siding as it is absolutely way too wide. I’m sure it would work great for sheathing but that is the only thing I would ever recommend this gun for. Because its design(poor in my opinion) doesn’t give it the versatility of other staplers I’ve used I can’t say I’d recommend a product that was unnecessarily limited by its engineers. I will say that it’s lighter than others and has nice trigger function and it does shoot staples. If you’re looking for a stapler that will do other tasks as well as sheathing then I would have to say that you need to keep on searching, this product is not for you. Besides all that, it’s actually more expensive than other stapler that have more versatility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used this quite regularly over the last 4 or 5 years and it hasnt missed a beat other than a rare staple jam but easy to remedy that! Its built very tough as its survived a few falls off of roofs! Would highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased Hitachi nail guns in the past and I am very pleased with their quality. I also have Metabo hand held disc grinders that just wont wear out, had them since 2005. the change to Metabo HPT was not a concern at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need a stapler for sheathing, this is the best one on the market. A little oil before each use and it will hardly ever jam. And, even though it's extremely light weight, it's really tough.

Does what it is suppose to. Good price. Popular stapler around here. Take care of your tools and they will take care of you.

The stapler works great and easy to use. It would be nice if it came with a carrying case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Metabo, formally Hitachi has always made top notch pneumatic tools and this 7/16 stapler is no exception. I used it to sheath the inside of my wood shop with 3/4 “ plywood and it made easy work of it. I had zero jams and it has plenty of power to drive the staples into the studs.

Seems to be a good working tool. I used it for 6 hours consistently and it never jammed.

this is one great nail gun7/16'' stapler also pin gun, 1/4'' stapler, they are all great nail guns.when i buy another nail gun it will be a hitachi gun

I used this to attach western red cedar siding that I had to replace. The 2" staples worked great and didn't split the wood yet hold very well. Using a nail gun for this application is so, so much better than using regular nails. It's a fairly expensive tool but in my case I really couldn't go without it. It's pretty heavy but that's understandable given the power it's delivering.

This tool is easy to use. You can load 2 complete stack of staplers inside at a time. Not to heavy for the power of the tool. One inconvenient : you need an Allen key to adjust the dept of penetration...bodering

this is the first time i have purchase a product by this manufacture by recommendations by other contractor friends. i must agree they were all correct on why it is a great purchase.

This is a very nice unit for a small compressor. Everything is tight and there are no leaks. Regulator works well. Well constructed. Should last a long time.

I used to be a believer in Hitachi Tools ... If this unit is not repaired or replaced I will badmouth them every chance I get . This is the second one of these I've had , I returned it for the same exact reason!!! this is a common problem with the motor on these compressors ....according to numerous other reviews I've read.

Very pleased with the compressor. However, I was dismayed when I read in the owners manual that it was to be used for nailers and similar tools. This was not mentioned when I bought it. I assume this is because it is not rated for continuous duty. I decided the way I use it for general use in my woodworking shop will be ok. It will not be used for continuous duty. So far no problem.

I have used Paslode products in the past. I have been slowly changing most of my air tools & drills over to Hitachi. My new sheeting stapler does not miss a beat. My Paslode sheeting stapler miss fires quite often & is especially bad considering it is a fairly new gun. The new Sheeting stapler works GREAT. I also bought another Coil siding nailer to add to the other one I have. They work great installing Hardie siding,

I am a beekeeper and make a few hundred boxes a month. Hoping this lasts years. Pleasure to use, ergonomic and sinks staples. I really like the balance of this gun and how it feels in my hands. I try to make boxes in batches. Secures them beautifully. Wish I bought it years ago.
