This bar only fits on 4 inch tiles if it is placed on an angle. The 12 inch will work perfectly either horizontal or vertical. Shipping was fast and products look great. Be sure to Clean both the tile and suction cups before installing and check each time before you get in the tub.

The grab bar holds good when it does hold however you never know when it is going to release. The indicators help but you still want to pull on the bar to check it before you need to use it. I have had it hold for several days at times and at other times it has only held for a few hours. Just not reliable.

This grab bar installs easily and holds great. It makes you feel more secure in your tub.

we had to return it to Home Depot. Even though we have a smooth surface fiberglass shower, the attachment indicators would not change from red.We found that the Drive brand grab bar does adhere and attach properly.

This product would not adhere to my shower surface and as completely unusable

dose not stay put more then 24 hrs.

Purchased two of these safety bars, one would not stay attached at all. Visible defect on one of the suction cups. Poor quality control. Kept one and returned the defective product.

Yes I Would buy this. Got this for my mother and it has been great 6 weeks and it hasn't lost the suction yet

These are simple to install! Anyone could do it! They are VERY sturdy.

It sticks well to the wall. I would recommend this product.

In the description it said they have a 2 in. diameter which is what I was looking for. They actually have more of a 31/2 to 4in diameter. I didn't even take them out of the package. I knew they wouldnt work. They are in my to do list to return.

Originally concerned it wouldn't work on my wavy tile. However, since I placed it in the shower 3 weeks ago it has held tightly, even though it is located where it gets a heavy flow of water rushing over it. My only suggestion is that the 12" model would probably be large enough.

Easy to install, elderly parent feel safer in the shower.

I previously purchased cheap version at half the price - they worked perfectly! So I ordered these as an upgrade, at twice the price. They are worthless - often fall off the wall within seconds. Do not waste your money.

Work great. Attached to 4 inch tile in the shower, great for steading yourself.

Nice unit. Seems to be working and holding well. Way better than drilling holes in that nice Fiberglas stall.

Works well, but needs a small change. The red/green status indicators are small and near the same optical density. That means even partially color-blind users, like myself have great difficulty reading the indicators. Red/green could be replaced with red/white to allow all to correctly interpret the safety status.

We needed something to hang onto when stepping out of the shower. This was easy to install. We've had it up for three weeks and it is still holding strong. I'm very comfortable with the safety extra of a green tab to indicate that it is tightly attached and a red warning tab if it is not. I wanted the longer size to compensate for people of different heights using it. And I love the color, which fit our decor and did not stand out as a blue medical device would.

I went to the trouble of ordering 5 of these grab bars which wouldn't hold and when I returned them to my local HD, I was told that they didn't work on dry wall. This should have been said up front

Looks great good price only problem after 3-4 days you have to refasten it..

Used several times getting in my shower. It's handy as I have some impairment on one side.

Much more sturdy than expected. Suction cups are very strong and stable. Glad I chose the larger model with hand grip. Very pleased.

Only had the product 24 hrs. but am happy w/cost, and quality. Just wrote to say Escutcheon Diameter as listed under specifications is WRONG should read 3 1/2" NOT 2".

We just needed something in the fiberglass shower for stability. We couldn't mount a permanent bar to the studs due to the location and configuration of the shower stall. This product works great and gives us peace of mind.
