[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a shed to store my lawnmower. I looked at about 6 suppliers and was crawn to Handy Home through Home Depot because of the price. I looked at the reviews and found most of the negative were by purchasers who intended to do the labor themselves. Since I chose to let Handy Home build the shed, I figured, if there was a problem, they would work it out. All other sheds of similar size and shape were $1500 to $3000 more. Purchasing the shed and having it built consists of 2 areas.; 1) scheduling and communication and 2) building. 1) I was disappointed by the lone wait for construction. I was scheduled for delivery in 5 or 6 months. Handy Home did not contact me after purchase as was promised. When I tried to check on the scheduling, it was almost impossible to get someone on the phone. Home Depot was little help since they don't know anything about Handy Home; its a third party sell on their internet site. Since it was during the peak of the Covid outbreak, I only took off one point for lack of communications. Construction was completed on time. 2) I was worried since they only sent one man for the construction. Amazingly, he completed the whole job in 6 hours and did outstanding work. The shed is everything I was told it would be. It is structurally very strong. It looks nice. After I painted it, I am very proud of my Handy Home Montana shed. I purchased 3/4 inch plywood for the floor and used the delivered floor (5/8 inch OSB) later, for extra shelving and loft. The builder agreed to that. I also added some wind cross bracing. I would hardily recommend a Handy Home Montana shed to anyone.

Great Shed!! I am a rather experienced carpenter so the assembly was not a problem. Parts were labeled and everything was cut perfectly and it was just the thing we needed for storage. Huge loft was a plus. I think the shed will serve for many years to come

Parts were missing. Pieces were inconsistent in size, so I had to cut many and adjust measurements. Directions were sometimes contradictory. The design is difficult to assemble. A few more 2x3s would have made the assembly much easier. This shed took longer to assemble than if I had built a well designed one from scratch.

Not as sound as others, but not as expensive. Installer was experienced and quick. 6 hours. It is exactly what the pictures show and the description says. The problem is scheduling and communication. Frustrating, but worth it in the end. I would buy again.

Is funny that I receive this email to write a review today because I was very happy with the shed until yesterday when a huge wind gust hit the shed and one of the doors felt off. I noticed that the doors where installed with very thin nails instead of screws to secure the doors against wind surpassing 45 mph. I hope the warranty covers the damage and someone comes to my house to repair the shed. thanks.

All the parts were there. The shed uses 2x3 wood framing. The shed could be refined a little more in design, meaning the lumber and panels need to be square and fitted better. I also had to purchase flooring, 4x4s and roofing that added $400 to the cost of the build.

More than half of the 2x3's we're war ped and I couldn't even use them. Would not recommend this item

I am BEYOND disappointed to say the least. This kit is a piece of garbage. Several pieces that were suppose to be in it are missing. Only good if your putting it on a concrete slab, otherwise worthless. Keep looking, don't settle on this one.

Quality decent. The manual was terrible. Wish they put up a video online so you can visually follow through with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extra 4x8 shelf nearly doubles the usable space. I would recommend they raise the shelf 4 inches or so. I am 6 foot tall and the edge of the shelf is perfectly low enough to hit me in the forehead. This is2x3 construction but is should provide years of great use if you paint the inside and outside.

But once I got to use it, I really like that the barn like roof, allows for a nice size loft which I use to rotate seasonal things like Christmas decorations. It also has a mid wall shelf on the back wall. I held back one star because it isn’t painted and it only gets light through the little window above the door.

Was disappointed originally due to delay of delivery (was told one thing, wound up being delivered a month later). Would of been 5 stars if not for the confusion over the original delivery date.

Was supposed to arrive on 6/5/20, didn't get delivered and installed until 7/3/20. delay due to covid-19 problems but not very well communicated from home depot to the customer. once installed it is just what we wanted and is big enough for our planned use. we originally thought it would be painted after install but the basic panels are primed only, will need to paint it separately, to insure its long term survival, but we waited so long for it to be delivered we are happy to have it.

the shed is fine, but nobody seems to understand me when I tell you the trim is NOT PAINTED! I got a followup phone call the day after installation & informed that person. NO RESPONSE I sent him pictures. NO RESPONSE I filled out another survey and pointed out that the trim wood was NOT PAINTED! NO RESPONSE

Less than sturdy materials used. Two rows of shingles were nailed on the outside which will lead to future leaks. One shingle is cupped which leads to the potential of ice dams which will ruin the shingles and also cause leaks and early shingle replacement.Very disappointing, I will never buy from nor use this company for anything again. I hope you return my call so you can fix these problems.

Bought this shed to store bikes and yard equipment. We fit 5 bikes, mower, wheelbarrow, tools and all our camping equipment. The installation went smoothly and the installer was professional

I placed an order for this shed because really couldnt beat the price. I was called ( by handy home) and scheduled the install and called 2 weeks early by home depot to confirm everything is ok. They came and left like ninjas (due to covid), they left no debris around and it was a clean install. a few days after a rep from handy home to ask how everything was. everyone I spoke to involving this shed was professional and friendly (they actually cared about my service not just my money). as far as the shed it was excactly what it looked like online (the base of the shed does stick up about 4 inches higher then the ground so you will need to cover it up). Otherwise I am very happy to have purchased this shed and extremely happy with my service expierence,
