I love the pattern these solar lights spread. So much so that I ordered two more sets.

Excellent product with a bright and crystal like display. They are far superior to any solar light i have had previously. There waterproof and encased light is virtually maintenance free. Would definitely buy again. They never fail to light even when the sun doesn't shine.

These solar lights are absolutely beautiful. Easy to assemble and easy to install. They are brighter than normal solar pathway lights which is wonderful because we have no outside lighting around our home and now we are able to see walking up to our front door.

These look great. Sturdy, well made. They stay on all night and give off a warm white light. Shipping was fast and arrived undamaged. We are very happy.

Attractive, functional product for three of the four units -- pole sections easily assembled. Fourth pole did not have properly machined threads for connecting that pole's sections. Three people tried and failed. Ended up holding one pole section with pliers, hammering then twisting with another pliers the other section of the pole. Finally needed to use black tape to hide the scratched off finish created by the use of the pliers. Even with that, pole NOT perfectly straight.

I purchased these to accent my little garden in front of my house. They look so pretty. I just wish they were a little brighter but otherwise they are perfect.

These lights worked much better than I expected! My neighbors have some solar lights and theirs are very dim most of the time. So, that's what I thought I would be getting; I just wanted something to light my pathway. But what a got was far from being dim. Oh, no ... ! My lights are bright! I paired these hanging lights with the "post in the ground type", same manufacturer, Hampton Bay, and the combination looks marvelous. I have two of these lights up higher, and two down lower, using the rods that are provided. Easy to put together, and a breeze to put in the ground. I sent a picture to my son, and he liked them so much I had to order some for him. He has drought-tolerant landscaping that needed a little something. So, let there be light ;-)

I love solar lights since its energy efficient and easy to care for. Over the past few months I have bought lots of different lights for the summer barbeques. My front yard and backyard are all decorated with variety of solar lights. This particular lights I have put around my front pathway. The quality is excellent. None of the lights came broken. These were simple to assemble and put it in the ground. Brightness level is good enough to light up a pathway during night time. I’m pleased with my purchase and will be getting more to decorated other areas of my garden!

Beautiful lights!!! Loved, loved, loved them! I've gone through so many different styles for a low price and could not find any that would last or illuminate my front yard as I would have liked. These did the job just right. I read a comment from another buyer that referenced the price and how they are worth it and they really are. You get what you pay for. These are sophisticated and simple to install.

Love them, they make beautiful light patterns.. I hung them from a tall plant hanger to make a light post near my front door

This is a nice and bright set of low maintenance solar path lights. I recently replaced two old small path lights with them and put two around my shed that I am finishing up. What I like most about them is that they are solar (no tedious low voltage installation needed) and bright for just one LED light. Their style is also nice and fancy. These lights are about twice as big and much taller than my old ones. I would them as close together. Installation was very easy, I recommend pushing the stake in the ground with the pole attached as it helped me keep them straight. Two of the solar lights I replaced were Hampton Bay as well and they worked without issue for two years so I am hoping for the same durability out of these new ones.

These hanging solar lights look great during the day and at night they give a warm white glow of 5 lumens each. The LED light is powered by a 600mAh NI-MH AA rechargeable battery which is included in each lamp. The hammered plastic lens gives the area an interesting decorative pattern at night. They automatically come on at dusk and stay on most of the night when they receive enough sun during the day. They are made of plastic except for the metal screw-together posts and the hanger on top of the lamp. The metal posts are 3/8" diameter, the plastic ground stake is 7", and the shepherd hook with post is 24" tall. The plastic solar panel is 3.25" diameter. The only problem I had was that they easily blow off the hooks if the wind is strong. Since we have frequent winds, I simply secured the lamp onto the hook with some fishing line.

The lamps are very stylish and except for the mounting pole and hook made completely out of plastic. Assembly is easy as the pole sections screw together with a threaded fitting. The protective battery insulator tab just needs to be pulled out of each lamp. The covers for the lamp come of easily by twisting in a counter clockwise motion. The stakes go in easily when I used a rubber mallet to drive them in. The bottom of the lamp sits about 16 inches off the ground making it ideal for installing in and around low lying shrubs as in my picture shows. They are very stylish stay lit all night with approximately 8 hours of good sunlight and a great value for 4 lamps !

These are large, beautiful solar outdoor lights that immediately changed the feel of my outdoor walkway. I was pleasantly surprised by their size (quite tall and the lantern themselves are much larger than your typical solar light). Assembly: Took about 5 minutes. You screw together two pole pieces and then screw that rod into the stake that goes into the ground. The stake is quite large and makes for a very sturdy set-up once installed. Light: As they are significantly larger than your standard patio light (see comparison picture) and as such throw off quite a bit of light. Because of the speckled glass, the pattern of the light is also very pretty (see photo). I have these leading to a small in-law cottage in the back of my house and they provide an exceptional amount of light. No tripping! I would HIGHLY recommend these lights. Not only are they unique looking, they're very well made and throw off a lot of light. High quality and good-looking.

These solar lights are considerably brighter than the average landscape lights, probably because of the LED bulb. My pathway is already quite well lit so I decided to use these wonderfully bright lantern-style lights to illuminate some favorite plants. And while the instructions for use recommend at least 6 to 7 hours of direct sunlight to ensure the lamp will remain lit from dusk to dawn, I am finding that even with only about 4 hours of direct sunlight, the lamp still stays lit from dusk until well past midnight. The lamps are plastic but high quality and not flimsy or cheap-looking. I particularly like the reflection from the hammered lens, and the shepherd's hook comes in three pieces, allowing a choice of height to fit the location. I used a shorter length (2 of the 3 pieces) for the lamps that illuminate my potted plants, and the full length (3 of the 3 pieces) for the one light that I did place at the corner of a pathway. The battery is rechargeable (from the sunlight) but eventually it will not charge any more, however it's a standard AA sized re-chargeable battery that is easily purchased anywhere, and it's very simple to remove and replace in the top canopy of the light. These lantern style solar lamps give a touch of "colonial charm" to the landscape and I'm very pleased with the purchase.

We love these lights, however one blew off in a recent rainstorm, and the light became disassembled. We are not sure how to hook the inside wiring back up...there are two wires loose inside. Looking for directions or instructions on how to fix or reassemble it.

I liked the look of these. I read the reviews, the negatives were similar. If they did not work I would return them. I unpacked everything assembled all in four in minutes. It was about 6 pm. Thought I would have to wait to see if they lit and were ok. I placed two where I wanted them. To my pleasant surprise they all lit as soon as it was dark. The light is bright. It is plastic but the look is what I wanted. YES, wish it was metal and glass. Most were once made that way.

As quickly as these gotten here in the mail, I open the box as well as found every little thing well loaded. The stakes were very simple to create. For each light that goes on to the stake, see to it you open up the light and also transform the switch to "on". Mount was easy, put simply the stakes right into the ground. The most awful part was impatiently waiting for the evening to arrive to see how they would look and also they are stunning! Will certainly be purchasing a lot more as I develop my yard sanctuary.
