We purchased these last summer and will get more . The boxes of six Hampton Bay lights fail after a year.

The overall quality and look of these lights are good, but I returned them. The globes produce a "starburst" pattern -- which is attractive but not helpful if you need lighting for safety reasons along outdoor steps.

Poor choice for any application where sprinklers can hit them. The scale from the water forms a barrier for sunlight to charge the battery. I tried cleaning them with vinegar to no avail. They slowly began to fail over about six months.
They turn on and off at different times even if they have been equally exposed to the sun. I disassembled after a month or so and found corrosion and rust. Interestingly, the one I placed in a flower pot under the patio cover and out of range of sprinklers is still working fine. Also, the glass projects a star pattern on the ground, which I find undesirable. I'm replacing them with metal, low-voltage lights.
