Bought these to install in my shed/workshop and they're exactly what I was looking for. It runs quiet, which is important in a small space. Most importantly it moves a ton of air which will help me to keep things cool in the summer and circulate air in the winter. I like that you can leave it on a lower setting and still get the benefit because of the large blades. The wall control is great because I have no cords hanging down to get in the way. I can't speak to the installation because I had someone do it for me. There is no light, but I knew that and didn't need one.

Based on my short time initial experience with these fans I have to say that they are definitely industrial quality. I installed 2 in my garage a couple weeks ago so I can't comment on their long term performance yet, but I have high expectations that they will do the job and last a long time. Can't beat the price!!

Simple GREAT JUST GREAT

Beautiful and quiet. The only problem is that to reverse the blade direction you need to open the housing above the blades and toggle a switch ~ which is a challenge if your fan is mounted on a very tall ceiling. I should have ordered one with a remote control or wall switch that allows you to reverse the blades.

I needed 3 outdoor industrial looking fan for my patio. I had purchased 3 westinghouse fan that was very similar in design to this one because it had very good reviews. TRUST ME, that fan did not have any airflow despite the high CFM advertised. I had that fan for 3 years and finally replaced it with this one. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! You can feel the airflow in this one. Just look at the pitch in this fan compared to the westinghouse.

I designed my Florida horse barn to allow for maximum air circulation. My existing fans had finally kicked the bucket so we installed four of these. On days when it is hot outside and the air is still, these provide the perfect three-blade “chilling” effect. If your goal is to provide air circulation, buy a fan with more blades. Three blades cool off the barn nicely but don’t provide full air circulation like natural breezes and winds. I hired an installer because my barn roof over the hallway is 18 feet high. Too high for me! I took off a star because I bought 5 fans so we would have a spare for parts or if a fan was defective. Two of the five fans were missing their remote controls so one of the four is stuck at one speed. Otherwise I am pleased with them.

This is my second time ordering this fan. My last one survived almost 6 years of non stop running in my shop and gave up. I will continue to replace them with the same model based on value and performance. I have been happy with the amount of air it circulates and helps keep me cool while working. Installation is very quick and straight forward.
