The cover is very cheap. It difficult to put on.

Reasonable retrofit for an older kitchen - pretty bright. Install OK and they provided a paper template for taping on ceiling - nice touch. One item there is no cover to hide any exposed wires so have to be careful to keep wires within center channel of fixture (no leds here) and I used white electrical tape to wrap connections. This avoids any uneveness or shadows after you install the puff cover. Suggestion - a small snap on cover to hide/channel would have been a great addition. Also, Hampton Bay seems to be made by Commercial Electric - box I received was from Commercial Electric but matched item on display in local Home Depot.

Great closet fixture replacement

Bought the light a couple years ago, got nowhere near the 50K hours lifespan it advertises. The driver failed, and in True Home Depot fashion, parts are not available. Hampton Bay is a Home Depot brand, but they change models every couple years and discontinue parts. Called customer service, they were less than helpful. DO NOT BUY Hampton Bay products.

Easy to install and much brighter than the old florencent light.

I replaced my original kitchen light fixture with this LED light fixture and it was well worth it. Better look, brighter light and less expensive than having to replace the mercury filled light bulbs that never lasted. This is a complete peace of mind and thankfully I have a electrician that knew how to install it. I would definitely recommend this product.

Light & Bright! Out with the old fluorescent, in with the new

This product worked just fine for almost two years. Then it started taking a few seconds before it would come on, then a few minutes before it would come on, then a few minutes of disco flickering before it would come on, then a few flicks of the switch & a few minutes of flickering, then a long wait for anything at all to happen & a long period of flickering, then nothing at all. I hope you enjoyed this review; now you know what my life has been like dealing with this light fixture.
