This plastic is strong and worked well for sealing my gazebo for the winter. I did not give it an excellent score because it is definitely not clear...you cannot see through it at all.

The plastic thickness was as expected but it is not clear. It is more of a grey color.

The sheeting itself was fine - opened ok, the right thickness, etc. However, it is not clear like we wanted (like Saran Wrap is clear). Instead it is a milky color and you can only see something that is right next to it.

Nice and heavy weight. Was not sure if it was going to be strong or flimsy, but it is great. Also lets some light in which is a great improvement over the tarps that we used previously. Very pleased.

It is not clear, it is cream and cannot be seen thru. Being thicker I thought it would be stronger but rips very easy. Would not purchase this again.

Other reviews regarding the clarity of the plastic were correct. I thought they may have not accepted the normal haze you see with this stuff. It was not, it is white- not remotely clear. Disappointing, I expected more from Home Depot. I have no idea why this description hasn't been corrected! ☹️

It says it's clear, but it's not.

The product is labeled as clear but you can't see through it at all. There are other clear 6mm products on the market but this one is incorrectly labeled. With HD's help, we contact the seller but while they acknowledged the problem they were unwilling to correct their product description.

This plastic was advertised as clear and the two photos in the description of the items show the plastic as completely clear like glass. However, the plastic received is nearly white and not able to see through at all. Very unhappy with this product and a big waste of time waiting for it.

It did the job that I needed it to do. I would recommend this product.

we spent alot of time researching and then ordered this roll of heavy duty plastic to put around the chicken coop and run for winter. we think the thickness will work well and hold up to the weather.. and we ordered it clear so that we can look out the windows and check on the chickens to make sure they are safe and no predators have come round.. also we wanted them to be able to see out. but the plastic is not clear..it's more of a gray.. we were going to return it and find something else..but found out they don't have clear in my area either.. we are not happy with that.. but have to have the plastic so what else could we do but keep it.. but we're not happy about not being able to see what's going on in there when we look out the windows..it's going to drive me crazy this winter and i'll have to make a dozen trips a day outside to make sure the chickens are ok.

just received this today. a smoky gray is not CLEAR................... would not recommend

when I ordered this I was to believe that it was clear and you could see through it, But upon opening it was frosted and could not see thru it. That is the only reason I gave it a good instead of excelllant

It is translucent at best, NOT CLEAR as described. That was disappointing, but too late to change to another product. It was no problem to attach to my workroom with staples. And the insulation properties seem good so far. But I will have to install grow lights for my plants that are "overwintering" in there since it isn`t "clear" as described.

6 mill plastic sheeting very strong but creases in plastic tear. Used for carport, or greenhouse, or any outdoor enclosure and the seams / creases will split open / tear apart where the plastic is folded to fit into shipping box. The plastic itself will last very long... just not at the folded creases. I enclose a carport every year for last 10 years and have noticed this issue in the last couple of years. Maybe the company uses a different process to roll and package plastic rolls. I last 10+ years the price has doubled and, now, this new issue with splitting plastic at creases. I would recommend if they revert back to previous packaging process.

When I ordered "Clear Plastiuc Sheeting" I wasn't expecting to recieve something that was off white and translucent. The box was labeled "Clear", imagine my surprise when it came time to use it, to find out otherwise. Other than that, it was fine.

I coverd 6 large windows that are 7 ft.high and 5 1/2 ft.wide. where I live in the high desert the winds and gust blow up to 50 and 60 miles an hour , this has blocked the wind and chill. I still have a lot of plastic sheeting left. It is very strong and does the job very well.

The roll came quickly, and is very nice, but is white, non-see-through, not clear as the description states. I'll be returning it.

I am very please with the product and service. Would have preferred free shipping however.
