We chose this cart for use as an island. It is the largest cart available before a significant jump in price in this category (next size up is almost double the cost). It actually has a lot more storage space than you would initially assume. It easily fits my 5qt kitchen aid mixer, a toaster, blender, and a couple other appliances in the cabinets. The wood top can be used as a cutting board. This does take a fair amount of work to put together (at least an hour if doing alone), but I was impressed by the solid wood construction. Overall a terrific value for a great price.

Assembly was virtually flawless - one minor issue with a misplaced pilot hole that had no affect on final assembly and one issue with a threaded bolt hole that was not working properly. Was not able to completely tighten the bolt but there was no overall problem. You will need a helper at a couple of the steps but not for the entire process. Finish was very good with only minor blemishes that were not apparent at first glance. Item was packaged AMAZINGLY - not a single problem with any part due to shipping - and the outer packaging showed substantial wear and tear. The size of the cart fits perfectly with our kitchen and the wood finish is a close match to our cabinets. The black granite counter top goes very well with our black microwave and stove top.

Can be placed anywhere in kitchen. Also used in dining room as serving counter...Very handy for extra counter space and working area. Having limited storage, I can now store my pots & pans..bowls etc. It also locks in place, so it's very sturdy..Love it.. We are getting new cupboards but will still keep my cart as my island. We even matched our new cupboards to same wood as cart.....

The granite top has numbers written on it where I can not get it off. The cabinetry is real nice.

When I received the package I did not think I could assemble because it was so heavy, but the package was easy to open, no pulling to get at the parts out of the box and it was assembled in about 21/2 hours. The difficulty came with the drawers. I had to take them to the HD store to have them tighten the screws and then they did not fit the unit. Product customer service was helpful and sent out new pieces which were received in a couple of days. I dont like to buy items that I have to put together but could not find anything that was already assembled. I still do not like to put things together. I like that you can move the unit around which makes it easier to clean around. It serves it purpose which was additional storage for all that tupperware that accumulates and holds the microwave which allows for more counter space.

By the time I figured out that what I received is not quite what I ordered, I had already destroyed most of the packaging materials getting it unpacked. The back panels and the drawer bottoms are cheap and too thin for real use. Some of the screw holes are misaligned. One of the drawers bumps into the top when I try to close it. One of the cabinet doors has to be closed carefully to ensure is stays closed while another one is difficult to open. During assembly, some of the parts have glue pegs already inserted. The holes that the glue pegs go into are over-sized so they don't hold the parts effectively in place while attempting to assemble the next part.

The cart was easy to assemble and is excellent for a kitchen with not a lot of counter space. I can pull it right up next to me when cooking, and move it off to the side when it is not needed. Also great for some extra storage. The cart is also very sturdy.

We like this cart, however, we had to deal with one broken part and an additional set of parts that were not the correct parts for the cart. The broken part appeared to be packed broken as its location would have prohibited breakage. The poles for the end shelf were 1.5" too short--clearly intended for another model. Overall we like the cart but found getting the additional parts to be inconvenient and it delayed assembling the cart 2 weeks. FYI, the customer service folks were really nice and willing to make accommodations.

The manufacturer packaged the product well, so I did not understand why I received a couple of cracked pieces,one was painted over. The manufacturer also provided a couple extra metal parts, just in case. The product did not completely align, some sides fit in easier than others, perhaps due to the cracked pieces. Overall, it was easy to assemble. One shelf does not line up due to the base being slightly out of alignment. Thus, it sometimes falls. Needs longer pegs for the shelving unit to avoid this in the future.

Shipment came quickly and packaging was great. All parts were there and the counter top was in great condition. This product did not disappoint. I would recommend to anyone looking for extra counter space and storage

The color that we selected, warm oak, was red in color. Not the brown that the pictures shows. The bottom of the cart was incorrectly manufactured. I was able to disassemble and reconstruct it so that the sides could be properly installed.

Outstanding quality. Easy to assemble. Everything I had hoped it would be.

Looks great. Easy assembly with clear instructions. Very handy a suits our purpose well of adding storage and work space.
