Recently purchased this Kitchen Island for our new home.This product was relativity easy to assemble. All holes for hardware are provided. Directions are clear. Foolproof assembly. It took my husband and I about 2 hours to assemble the island. The finish product it very beautiful and sturdy. However, sadly one of the front doors will not latch and there is a gap between the door and center post. The other door fits properly. I tried to call Home Styles Customer Service several times. I only reached an answer machine. I left several messages, with no reply. Disassembling this item, for return, would be very time consuming. Home Depot provided a discount on this defected product.

I love this kitchen island!!!!! I've been remodeling my grandparents home for several months. I wanted to update the kitchen and create an open floor concept even though it is a smaller kitchen. I saw this kitchen island and knew it would look great in my new kitchen. The island came in 3 boxes. I was able to print out the instructions online, but each box had instructions as well. It was very easy to put together if you followed the instructions. It took me about 3 hours from start to finish. The product looks amazing in the space i have. I absolutely love it!!! The island is made of decent material and the countertop is great. The only fault i have with this product is the two pull out drawers could be a bit more sturdy. Overall this is a great kitchen island and the cost was a good buy for the prices. I would recommend this to anyone if your looking for something to improve the look of your kitchen in a small space.

Beautiful addition to my kitchen! I am so pleased with the quality and how easily it was put together. This piece is not only beautiful, but it is extremely functional with adjustable shelves on the outside and inside. Stores all of my slow cookers as well as cookie sheets and cake pans. The drawers are deep and slide smoothly. A fantastic value!

First 'Pat on the Back' goes to the designers of the Home Styles!! What an amazingly smart and intelligent design they have created! I am a 50 years old woman and single handedly I assembled this Kitchen Island Table! When I mean ''single handedly'' I mean literally...my right frozen shoulder with lot of stiffness and pain was not helping much and my dominant left hand did most of the work. Of course I took a little help from my husband while placing the beautiful heavy top and once before when I found that one of the plastic screw sockets in the leg was missing...but that is about it. I must say I am very impressed with the simplicity of the design! The table is beautiful, very strong and sturdy! It's hard to believe that it came in boxes and assembled by me. I really enjoyed putting the pieces together. The instructions are straightforward-simple and the end result pretty amazing! Standing elegantly...now our new Kitchen Island Table is enhancing the beauty of our kitchen...it's that piece of kitchen puzzle which was just missing...it matches the kitchen so perfectly...and most importantly it was in our reach budget wise...the minute I saw it on Home Depot web site I fell in love with it...so the Second Pat on the Back of course goes to me…lol...and the Third POB...'Pat on the Back' goes to the People of Home Depot!!! Thanks for all your help guys…because when we went to the shop for the first time to pick our boxes…we were quite disappointed to see that out of three...two boxes were badly damaged…although I was very disappointed that I could not get it ready for Christmas...I did not want to take those boxes home…we are older people so taking the damaged boxes home then opeaning and inspecting and then returning if necessary was a huge task for us...it was before Christmas and it was a very busy time at the shop still the guys at Home Depot took them back no questions asked! They made things very easy and reordered the stuff for us. I am extremely happy with their service and the quality of this beautiful ‘Home Styles Kitchen Island Table’…now the only thing missing is the matching Chairs…I hope I will find them soon : )

Love my Island. The perfect size, easy to put together and all the family said it really looked great not just OK, or good but really great.

Sooo happy we went with this one. We had an open area in our kitchen that we had talked about filling with a small island for yeeeeears.. (Umm, yeah, 25 years to be precise.. : / After a leak from an upstairs bathroom forced us to replace the kitchen ceiling (and, while we’re at it, and how about we also replace that old, cracked tile floor at with hardwood?) we finally had the incentive for a fresh look. After much shopping around and “reviews” reviewing, decided on this one. It was the perfect size for our not-so-big space and I particularly liked how many reviewers mentioned its “solidness”. I had also seen an almost identical island at a somewhat lower cost, but based on some reviews and the actual product description, sounded like that product was not solid wood throughout. Opted for delivery to store to save $ (this was one of the few islands where free shipping was not offered by HD. Saw identical island also offered by Lowes and Wayfair WITH free delivery, but HD price was much lower, making pick-up at the store well worth it. Plus, if there is any damage during freight, at least the store is witness to it.) Speaking of… had a couple of hiccups with the delivery (there was some minor damage in transit/delivery) but was SO minimal (and hidden) that we opted to keep it - and HD made a very nice “adjustment” for us, as well, which we used toward the stools. Assembly went well, without any real issues. Final piece (top) needs 2 people to put in place – and at first, it didn’t seem to be lining up with the holes, but some push/pressure from one person on one end while the other person secured with hardware beneath was all it took to pull it together. As someone pointed out, the “distressed” finish (small holes stamped about?) struck me as a bit lame at first, but I warmed to it. Overall, It’s a very nice piece.

I think this is the most beautiful kitchen island I have ever seen. It was delivered without any damage, and it took about 2 hours to put it together. Everything went together perfectly and it is absolutely gorgeous in my kitchen. I've included a photo so you can see what I mean.

We bought our Island on line I was very nervous because I am one that has to touch and look underneath and see how it's made, The Island came in just a few days in three boxes, my husband and I had it together in 1 hour, it went together very easily. It's solid construction and beautiful, everyone just loves it. It sure did add to our kitchen just what we were looking for, I didn't want anything to big and this was just the right size for us. We put felt sliders on the bottom so we are able to move it around, very convenient for parties and cleaning.

So easy to assemble and looks so good in our kitchen. Great quality! I just love it!!!

We were very pleased with how easy this was to put together. Most stuff you get like this that you have to put together yourself is poorly designed and not very study. This product is well worth the money we paid. And we compared it to Lowes, It was almost $140 cheaper here than at Lowes. It did not take very long to ship it to the store and they called us Immediately to let us know it had arrived. I also like that they were very concerned about the name of the person who picked it up. Which I appreciate so someone else cant claim my very expense item.

This beautiful Kitchen Island makes a perfect addition to any kitchen. Nice and sturdy, and very easy to assemble. I love it!

Love it, it's so pretty & sturdy. The only thing I don't love is the side shelves are cut too small so they float & wiggle around & u can see the silver pegs to hold them up cuz they're cut too small.

I was looking for an island for my kitchen. I searched every site online and kept coming back to this one. So glad I did. It was delivered as promised. It came in a few large boxes. I had a friend put it together for me. It didn't take him long at all and he said it was pretty simple. He was also quite impressed with the quality. It has adjustable shelves on the sides. Two drawers and two cabinets. I absolutely love it, it looks great in my kitchen and is very functional. I would highly recommend this product!!

I'm super happy with the construction quality of this piece. It's not all particle board. It's substantial in weight and sturdiness. We opted to leave off the feet and put felt pads so we could move it around on our tile floor. There are only 3 mild gotchas: The holes for the fold up top extension did not align properly, so I had to redrill those before installing the hinges. In addition, the wedge supports when the extension is up, are easy to get in place, but a little difficult to get out. And third is the knob holes for the cabinet doors are in the middle of the door, which is a little odd unless you're 16" tall, which I'm not. I redrilled those at the top and spackled in the predrilled holes. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

This island is great for a little added storage for your kitchen and it looks great too!

I was really happy with it until i put the top on. after spending an hour putting it togeether i took the top out of the box and noticed there were marks all over the top. looks like a machine put these in the wood. there are 4 perfect matches one in each corner) but after all that work im not going to return it.

I searched high and low for an island for my small kitchen and voila! This is it, it took less than 2 hours to put together and is just what I wanted. Very sturdy and adds the much needed storage that I needed. I'm happy!

Nice product. Easy to assemble. we moved to an apartment and needed something nice and an extra storage and work space in the kitchen. we looked at a lot of different products but this one really caught my eye. It was perfect it would fit the kitchen. I do know how we would have coped when the whole family came over that weekend if we didn't have this island.

Our mom recently moved into an assisted living facility and has a small kitchenette in her apartment. We were advised that most residents get a drop leaf table so we began our search. This island was the answer - it is really a great looking piece. In fact, our mom's apartment is being used as a showcase because it looks so good! In addition, it provides 1) a great place to eat (we also purchased 24" bar stools that are easy to maneuver); 2) much needed counter space; and 3) open shelves on the outside, making items such as coffee cups and bowls easily accessible. The shelves on the inside provide great storage, and mom uses the top two drawers for placemats, napkins, etc. Within an hour of us setting up the island, mom had one of her best friends over for coffee! Everyone is asking her where she got it, so no doubt more of these will go into other apartments. It is a winner!

This Kitchen Island is just the right size for my smaller kitchen that was recently renovated. It’s absolutely gorgeous & has loads of storage space. It was easy to assemble and I just love it.
