Worked very well highly recommend!

I have bought three of these recently: two 4" & one 6" square patches. The two 4" patches were great, but I got a flawed 6" patch. As shown in the picture, the metal square was either poorly aligned within the fiberglass mesh or it was skewed when it was cut out of a larger sheet. The end result was that one side of the patch only had about 3/16" of mesh extending past one side of the metal. Due to the packaging, this is not visible without opening the package. Moving forward (and if I find the need for more patches), I will probably feel around the packaging to determine placement of the metal in regards to the fiberglass mesh square to ensure that I get one that has good coverage on all sides.

This 4 in. x 4 in. Drywall Wall Repair Patch is perfect for fixing a large holes on the walls. I made a mistake and tried to fix a big hole without using one of these and the filler didn't dry well even after 2 days. I bought this to fix it and it made everything super easy. Application process is super simple i will definitely buy more if need it again.

This a great product. Easy to apply and feels strong. Saves time fixing holes and when I covered it with spackling it is already very smooth and will need very little sanding before I paint it.

The HDX dry wall patch worked good for me. I had removed a wall mounted sink that was glued direct to the sheet rock. It left a deep hole where a chunk of sheet rock pulled out with the sink. I tried repairing with fillers and they did not adhere well and seemed to never get completely dry or hard. I then went over the top of my failed repair with a 4"'x6" HDX patch, followed the instructions and worked drywall compound over the repair. After sanding off the excess the repair was sound and looked acceptable.

I was hesitant to purchase this as I didn't think it could possibly be sturdy and would look like a patch. I followed the directions and once it dried it looked good. Of course I still needed texture, I purchased an orange peal water based texture in a spray can. Turned out amazing you can't tell there was a hole there! By the way I'm am older female, if I can do it so can you!

I was worried that this thing would stand out like a sore thumb but I was wrong. You can't even see it after running spackle over it. Just read the directions and cover the hole.

I had a large hole to patch so I thought this might do the trick, but it didn't. It did not stick to the wall properly and the sheetrock patching material I was using didn't seem to want to stick to the edges...... I was using the DryDex sheetrock compound that is pink but turns white after it dries. Might have worked better with Regular Sheetrock Compound.

Super easy, turned out great

I patched a 6x6 inch hole in the wall with HDX Repair screen. The job was accomplished but the rectangular patch repair is quite noticeable despite 2 layers of sanded spacke, a texture spray , and 2 coats of paint.

This product woks very well by covering the hole with a semi rigid material that can be cut to size and holds mud or spackle very well.

Does not stick well to the wall. Does make for a solid surface.

I wanted to use it for the ceiling and it didn't stick in place.
