This plastic is great, I use it on all my crawlspace jobs because they always need a 6mil plastic on the floor for a vapor barrier.

using to close in our screen porch for winter. Thick, heavy plasic HOWEVER it is NOT CLEAR!! I will not be able to see ANYTHING BUT CLOSE SHADOWS all winter long (and my cat is going to be pi$$ed). Perhaps change "clear" on the box and description to "opaque"? I don't have time to return, find something actually clear, wait, and then cover the outside of my porch befor freezing weather or else I would.

The BEST clear plastic EVER!

The plastic sheeting is a milky color and definitely not clear. I didn’t open it until after the return date, so I tried to use it. It had minor holes in sheets, so don't expect product to stop airflow. I really needed CLEAR sheeting, and sadly can't afford to spend on another roll. I can't give more stars because I expected clear, because I purchased clear.

-3d time trying to post this review. Always a complication. This product is garbage. Didnt last a year in the Oregon sunlight. Paid $425 in labor to have this installed. Person said it seemed like a solid product but a year later it has failed

This is not worth the money. It is NOT 10 feet. It is 9ft6in. Maybe I got a bad roll. But, I had to cut extra lengths to make it work. What i built was 10x10 and it should have worked perfectly. But, the roll was short several inches. If I did not need it right then i wouldve taken it back. And, its thinner in certain areas. Garbage, highly disapointed in this product. Would love to get my money back.

Very disappointing and a time consuming error. I ordered clear, the box says clear, but the plastic is grey. Go figure. :(

This was not clear! It was grey and not transparent at all. It will not work for a greenhouse. :(

Not clear. I only recommend it if you want translucent white. Cloudy appearance. More translucent white . No smooth. It looks like sections got stuck together before it cured then stretched back out. Not the normal ones from folding before rolling.

Product is 6 ml plastic, however it is not close to being clear. I needed clear and got gray.

The product description states that this plastic is "clear." The pictures implying what this product looks like in use show plastic that you can see through. This plastic is NOT CLEAR. THIS PLASTIC IS GREY. THIS PLASTIC IS COMPLETELY OPAQUE. Not only is it NOT CLEAR, the quality is horrible: there are inclusions melded into the plastic sheeting so that, even if it was clear, it wouldn't be very good quality.

I ordered clear plastic sheeting and received grey sheeting, definitely opaque...can't see through it. Now, I have to hustle with returning it and find the right product. Disgraceful. Labeled as clear but delivered as opaque and in fact grey. Just disgraceful. DO NOT buy this if you are looking for clear sheeting. Such a shame.

I BOUGHT THIS EXPENSIVE PLASTIC SHEETING TO COVER MY GREENHOUSE...IT ONLY LASTED ONE MONTH BEFORE IT STARTED RIPPING TO SHREDS.

What is good about this product? It's dark enough to hide a body, and that's not good enough if you're trying to pass inspections... Nope. I'lll be returning the product. It's either mislabeled or anther of the recall products.

This sheeting is not clear at all--you would not be able to see anything through it as depicted in the images of the stacked wood and insulated walls. This material is essentially solid white--closer to opaque than translucent.

When I got the box home and opened it up the item came in two separate pieces. It was clearly supposed to be one roll and not two separate ones. I was not willing to figure out how to connect and and make it work. I returned the item as it did not meet what I had expected and what the box clearly advertised.

online order and curb side pick up were great! Bought this to make a giant slip & slide for the grandchildren. We unrolled the roll as we secured the plastic to the ground. About 2/3 of the way down, there was a hole the size of my hand. It was obviously a manufacturing defect. As the 'slip & slide' was already partially put together and I had 5 grandchildren there waiting to use it, we ended up putting duct tape over the hole. The children had a great time anyway, but I was very disappointed that the brand new roll of plastic sheeting was damaged right out of the box. Had it not already been partially assembled, I would have returned it immediately for a refund or replacement. Likely in most applications this hole might not make a difference, but buyer beware!

Should be listed as opaque not clear. Used it for a greenhouse cover over metal frame.

I used this to protect my frame garden during the recent near-freezes, and it worked well, but the package describing it as clear was false. It is not a clear/transparent plastic, it is white and opaque. I'd wanted clear so I could see inside for any damage without having to unfasten the plastic cover. I wouldn't have bought it if I thought it wasn't clear.

Although the package says “clear“ and the online information states that the product is “clear“, it is nowhere near clear. some light can pass through it, but it is a white material. After texting and emailing the manager of the store where this was purchased, then driven 300 miles to my work location, I got no response. Forced to use it regardless, due to bad weather moving in and no recourse to protect my work. Really bad to be selling fraudulently labeled products.

Strong plastic with benefit of letting light through for work site tenting due to rain. I would like it better if it was sold in 50' length.

We were having a family wedding and reception downstairs under a beach house on December 29. Rain forecast was pretty low, but heavy winds were projected. Days before the wedding I dreamed that we wrapped plastic around the whole house (wink from God). The next day we searched our options and found this plastic sheeting product. Knowing the thickness of contractor trash bags (less than 1 mil), it was reassuring to know we were getting a very heavy plastic to withstand rain and wind — and this product did just that. After a little research, someone else suggested running heavy duty tape down the area where staples, tacks or nails are used, and that was a great tip to ensure the plastic didn’t rip. The product is near white, which was perfect for the wedding. This product saved the evening. It held up extremely well with gusty winds at 17 mph. As were taking it down the following morning one of my neighbors came by and asked to take it from the trash so they could wrap their house for a New Years Eve party. Double win. If I ever host another winter party downstairs, this product will be on hand!

I used it for a vapor barrier for laminate flooring, it was cheaper than what was in the flooring department and the same thickness 6mm, worked great

The box did indeed contain exactly what the label said it would .

This is a thick, extremely durable visqueen. It is great for overlay, underlay, or just a gigantic slip-n-slide.

We used 18 of these sheets to cover an 8-acre lot as we were hosting a charity event and anticipated a downpour the day prior. The tarps kept the water out - we created a path for the water to go, away from the main event space. Event was a dry success, 1400 people attended and no mud in sight after a torrential downpour! Home Depot saved the day!
