This has been a good little mitre box. I use it for shaping sticks and boards for hobby use. I also use it for cutting door jams and frames to a 90 degree bend where this box does a good job. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that is is made of plastic so you have to bee a little bit gentle with it. Otherwise, for the money this has been a great little tool.

The box is very helpful with cutting wood or plastics. We are very pleased with it’s performance.

The miter box performed great. The sides did grip my saw extremely tight at first, I lubricated the box and saw and had no further issues.

Worked as described and I didn’t lose a finger.

My purpose for it was to cut numerous lengths of PVC and was able to clamp them down for precision cuts. Worked great!

It do what it says it does

Save your pennies and get a real miter box. Very difficult to cut in the kerf in the slots because the cheap plastic grabs the teeth. Junk.

It’s plastic, so a saw will make short work of it if you’re not careful. But it worked for my project and I could probably use it for another.That being said, if you plan on doing anything with wood more than once, just buy an electric saw of some kind. It will get the work done much easier and much less stressfully.

This is a piece of junk - a normal saw does not fit in the holes.

The miter box was a great help.

I used this with a hacksaw to make a couple of mitre joints in a sliding screen door frame and it worked great for this purpose. This is the second of these that I've owned the last one I used to build a wooden cabinet face frame and doors for our RV this project about wore the first one out. It's a good value for the price and you can use it for small projects or for infrequent use just fine.

Used this mitre box today and realized that not having a clamp is a major issue. While it is very cheap, you are getting what you pay for. In additiona, the slots are not easy to use to cut After starting my project, i am shopping for a new mitre box that is better made and with a clamp.
