I got these for a shop I am converting into a home gymn. I was worried about the thick plywood floor being too hard to jump around on. You know bad on my feet and knees. These mats did the trick. Easy to put down. They snap together and make a great workout cushioned floor. I got the grey and black to checkerboard my floor. It's awesome. I have already recommended this product to several of my friends. Oh and jumping around is a blast. No pain. Except for the inactive muscle ache : )

My average rating is based on my perception of the product or what I thought it would be vs what it is. I should have done a little more research into this and should have known better considering the low price. I bought this to go in the garage I converted into a home gym at my new home and was thinking this would more of a dense type of material like what I had purchased for another home gym. I knew I had ordered the wrong product when there was a note on the box that said that it was made of "flip flop" material and it encouraged you to be bare foot or wear socks on it. I am sure it is fine for light exercise but I have a Spinner bike, several moderate to heavy kettlebells and a set of free weights so this is not appropriate for my needs. Back it goes.

The mats came in two shipments on different days with only one tracking number. I had to call to figure that out, but no big deal. They installed easily and fit together well. However, as I installed them I noticed that many of them appeared quote dirty. Once installed I cleaned them with a dilute, mild cleaner and the problem became worse. Repeated rinsing barely helped the problem. The floor is unattractive, but functional. I wonder if something within the mats effuses out of them.

Used these mats for my kids playroom we absolutely love it.

Very good product is more like foam than rubber and provides great cushion, but not too soft. Could easily hold gym equipment. Was not successful cutting with razor blades. I recommend using shears for precision cuts. Kids have been a abusing this floor with no issues to report.

They are a little pricey, but the appearance in our home gym is great. Easy to cut and install.

Turned extra bedroom into a workout room. I love it. Easy to use product and is very durable.

East to install and just the right firmness for exercise

Bought this for for my home gym, and it was exactly the right choice. I tested out several other products, most were much more expensive and this turned out to be a great product. There is no odor, kid safe, and it was very easy to install, and it is the perfect balance of both firm and softness.

rug squares were very easy to install and look nice in my basement gym. It would have been better if they were a little less expensive so that I could have done the entire area.

We bought a case to put in our garage for workout equipment. The product is a semi hard rubber that is just as described, like the rubber sole of a shoe. We put a home gym (p1x) on top of the flooring. The flooring was perfect dimensions and the rubber has held fine with the weight on top of it. The only concern is that where the weight stack is centered, due to the amount of weight, the flooring has sunk down creating an indentation. Very pleased with this product and would recommend it to others.

I put these in a basement bedroom I'm using as a workout room and they are great!!! They were easy to put down and when I had to cut some to make fit I used a razor knife. They are very thick and padded and serve the purpose well!! And they don't have a rubbery smell which is a big plus!! Home Depot's price was better and was thicker. I highly recommend to anyone looking to do rubber flooring. Don't have to glue down, just sits on existing floor, for me was concrete.

Although easy to install and looking fairly nice, the product is not as sturdy as one would expect for use in a small gym. Whatever is left or moved onto its surface, items that are not that heavy, leave marks that are practically permanent. The only way to avoid this is to put a piece of mat underneath.

This product was easy to install. The only complaint I have is that some of the units were obviously from a different dye lot than the rest, so the color was a little off in some parts of the floor. All in all a good purchase that helps us turn our basement storage room in a spare bedroom.
