I love these!
The hundreds of other positive reviews are what drew me to this product, as well as the price. We had raised cedar beds years ago that finally rotted and I was looking for an alternative. I was skeptical about the 6 inch height, but it turns out that is just fine. There's not much to these--4 boards and 4 corner pieces. Once you get dirt in them, they aren't going anywhere. You will want to level the ground where you put these or they will look funky. We originally ordered 4 and liked them so much, we ordered 4 more. I highly recommend.

Good value for money
I'm a first time gardener & loved using this raised garden bed kit. It is made of composite materials, easy to assemble, and durable. It measures 42 in x 42 in x 6 in, and you get what you pay for, which is a functional product. I bought five early in spring, filled it with soil & compost from Costco, put up my square foot garden & the plants have started growing!! Ordered a few more to expand the garden.

Composite material is cheap and funtional
I love my Greenland gardener raised bed kits. I also ordered directly from the seller because I needed to customize my kits with 3way posts and they send me clips to stack the boards making a 12" instead of 6". They have an amazing customer service but home depot has the best prices.

Vegetable Gardening Made Easy
I'm a gardener, it's my favorite thing in the summer. When purchasing our new home I needed something easy and that looked nice - this did both. I purchased two kits and was able to add another 42 inches to the length by eliminating the 4th side on each and expanding the middle. They are lightweight - yet solid and look really nice. It took 18 bags of Topsoil/peat/manure to fill. The only reason I went 4/5 stars - they would be perfect if they included stakes. It was an easy side purchase - but for the money it was spot on. Will probably purchase 2 more next year!

Best way for townhouse gardening
Economical, good looking and quick and easy assembly. The stacking hooks did not come in the boxes but after contacting the company they were delivered in days. I live in a small townhouse and two double stacked 4x4 beds fit perfect. Can't wait to get gardening.

Two kits stacked
This raised garden kit was simple to assemble. I called Greenland Gardener, (http://www.greenlandgardener.com/ their phone number is at the bottom of the page) to order the clips to stack the kits two high, and their customer service was friendly and fast. The clips are free and slide onto the boards. I was able to set up my entire garden in one afternoon: laying down weed barrier, assembling the garden bed, filling with soil, and planting the veggies and flowers. No drilling or nails needed. The side boards slide into the corner brackets. I will purchase more Greenland gardener kits to expand my garden next year. This is my favorite garden product I've ever purchased, I feel I got more than my money's worth just in the ease of assembly. The fact that it is Eco-friendly and won't rot are added bonuses. Update: After one month I am still happy with my purchase and the quality of the product.

Super simple to assemble!
These beds are great! I do wish they were a few inches deeper, but overall they definitely work for us. Great for amateur gardeners who aren't skilled at carpentry- you literally just slide the corners onto the planks, lay down some weed barrier, and you are done in 2 minutes. We installed two over the weekend and plan to install a third soon.

poor craftsmanship, cheap material
The material is some what particle board, compressed saw dust coated in wax. The corner brackets are terribly machined, do not line up and if the bed is not on a completely flat surface, sides will not stay even. I put tiny nails to have corners stay flush, cracks the weak wood. If the soil is heavy, the middle will start to bow out, just look at some of other reviewers pictures. I flipped the wood, have the lines facing outward. Looks nicer. the material looks so cheap, i don't know how long it will hold. Next time, getting some wood and nailing them together. Made in the USA! yay

    Excellent purchase!
Product was much sturdier than I had anticipated. Assembled without tools, recycled materials, looks good. I stacked mine on top of each other, put down weed barrier, and filled them with Mel's mix. I only wish that they were four foot by four foot.

    42x42 Raised Garden Bed Kit
Purchased two and was not sure what to expect. Product is well built and is together in a matter of minutes. My garden was up and planted in 20 minutes! Product is easy to use and I recommend it highly. Used the roll weed barrier first, set right on the ground with no prep work needed. Both gardens are growing beautifully here in Florida !!

    Easy assembly
These are simple to put together. Bought these from Home Depot online and delivered via UPS to my house. Fast shipping but none of the boxes came with the clips you need in order to stack them to make a deeper bed, so I emailed the manufacter and the were GREAT she priority mailed the clips to me he next day. Great customer service! I do wish they were about 1/16 of an inch thicker! They seem to bow just a bit in the middle when filled but not bad. All in all a great product just what I needed for our small back yard. Much better than wood as they won't rot out in couple of years, once and done !!

    Perfect Little Garden Bed!
I purchased the Greenland Gardener Raised Bed Garden Kit as an addition to my other raised beds. It is the perfect size for growing a salad or herb garden or a multitude of other plants. This garden bed was extra easy and quick to assemble. I believe that the beds could be stacked to form one of greater depth if desired. I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend it to any gardener.

    Simple and Easy
My box came with a dent and hole in it. But, the parts were not harm. It did not come with instructions. So you will have to rely on yourself to figure it out. Basically, like putting together a 3d puzzle with big pieces. It was easy and simple to assemble. It took me 5 minutes to snap it together. Absolutely no screws or drilling needed! But it took me hours to assemble my garden with soil and plants. I would recommend to beginners or those who want hassle free assembly.

    Nice Little raised garden bed
I took the advice from other reviews and bought two of these and stacked them. And like everybody else said it's so simple to put together you don't even need tools. Took about 15-20 cu. ft. of potting soil. Of course it would take less if you mixed it with dirt. I have turnips, carrots and radishes planted in it.

      Perfect inexpensive raised bed
It only took me five minutes to put one of these beds together due to the simple slot and slide construction. I suggest you construct it where you want to place it permanently since there are no screws.

      What a great deal!
Great product! I have a brick patio and a large german shepherd. None of the artificial turf doggie bathrooms looked big or sturdy enough for my pup. So, I bought this lovely garden kit, some garden soil, and two rolls of sod. Now my dog has a place to go if I need to leave the house for a few hours. I know this product wasn't meant for this particular use but it was actually much cheaper than the artificial turf kits I looked at on Amazon!

love my 2 stacks recycled raised beds
I ordered two Greenland Gardener 42 in. x 42 in. Raised Bed Garden Kits and got them fast less than a week by shipping to my home. Easy to install two together without instruction but problems on corners. We had metal braces to hold both stack corners together. {See pix} Very good price for good quality recycled raised bed to last long time. I have them for one month and half. So far I am very pleased.

      Love my raised bed~
This is the first year I have ever gardened. I was not prepared to spend a ton of money on a raised bed in case the project failed. These were at an excellent price point so I bought 2. They are GREAT! Very easy to put together and have worked out well (so far). I would recommend these for anyone! The only con is that I wish the joint connectors allowed for multiple boxes to be joined together. Instead, the connectors only allow for 90 degree connections.

      Great Buy
I bought 4 boxes. The price was the best price I could find for this style product. I thought they were extremely easy to put together. If the area is not flat you will have to do a little work. I'm very happy with this purchase!

6" too shallow a raised bed
I have bought this same brand in other sizes before, and they were all 8" deep. It was my own failure to notice that these boxes were only 6" deep that makes this purchase disappointing for me. The Greenland Gardener products are great for the money, but 6" is just not deep enough to grow a wide variety of vegetables, which is my main interest. I'll stack some of them two high to make easier-accessible 12" deep boxes to accommodate the deeper-rooted vegetables, which means I'll need to buy more to have the number of beds I wanted. At this price, that's do-able. The 6" deep beds are fine for lettuces, radishes and other short cycle edibles. The beauty of smaller beds, if you have room for a bunch of them, is that each can be dedicated to a single "crop", therefore simplifying planning for successive plantings and eliminating concerns about what grows complimentarily next to each other within a box. The down side is that I need 2.5' space between them and the yard is only so big. If you're using Square Foot Gardening method, these work fine even though they're not 4 x 4; I tapped in brass nails at roughly 10" intervals about an inch down from the top on the sides of the boards, wound nylon cord across the boxes and treated the resulting sections like square feet, though it was the 8" depth that allowed me to do so successfully. In a 6" deep box, I'd cut back the number of plants per section. The material is not as indestructible as it might seem - I have broken a board by leaning on it as support while working in the beds - but after 3 seasons, my GG beds are holding up nicely and I'm pleased with the investment.

RAISED BED GARDEN KIT IS "SO-SO"
I bought 4 of these. I am disabled and could not get down on the ground to build beds from lumber, so I thought these would be something that I could construct easily. They are pretty straight forward as far as construction.....4 planks and 4 corners. Can't much easier than that! All in all, they are exactly like they are described, and should perform well. Some of the corners slipped right together, and others I had to take a hammer and bang them into place. Even for someone as physically limited as I was, they were relatively easy to build. The biggest "drawback" if you want to call it that is if your ground is not "level"....the beds won't be either! That's not a fault of the product, don't get me wrong. My area had a couple bumps in it, so the beds did not lie perfectly flat on the ground, and the corners shifted to accommodate the uneven terrain and may allow dirt to escape under the boards where it doesn't touch the ground. .
