[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this holder in our pool restroom. It gets windy so the cover is perfect to keep the toilet paper in place. Extremely easy installation that took a total of 10 minutes to complete. The black color matches perfectly with the other decor so it was the perfect choice. The product itself not only is pretty its sturdy and should hold up great in the pool restroom.

Weighted piece over the roll is excellent for homes with indoor pets that may be tempted to unroll the toilet paper for “fun”. Solid concealed mount with the option for both mechanical fasteners or a special glue (not included). Mirror quality finish on the entire product.

However, after installing and putting it to use I found it perfect for use. The over the top leaf works well and made the holders ease of use a pleasant addition. The black metal finish is without blemish and looks great. I would call this holder a definite winner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was crazy easy to install! I was replacing a toilet paper holder but had to set the screws in a different space. Very handy how the inside piece detaches to screw to the wall and then attach the holder. I love how the flap holds the paper down to tear it off where you need it. All in all excellent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice looking and well built metal toilet paper holder. It's not a cheap chrome plated plastic one. Very easy to install. You can use the supplied 3m tape or the supplied screws. I used the 3m tape if it doesn't hold I'll screw it to the wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grohe Matte Black Toilet Paper Holder is designed well and has crafted construction. I was hesitant about the matte black finish, however, the matte black finish is not a flat finish. It is smooth finish which, for me, is more visually appealing. There are two ways to install this toilet paper holder which is convenient. The first is a screw-in option with the screws provided which is super handy. The second installation option requries the purchase of an additional part from Grohe. For me, a product gets a lower star rating when you have to purchase additional parts for installation. Since the screws were included, I gave this product the full rating. This is perfect for a man cave or for anyone who has a pet that likes to play with an exposed toilet paper. This is also perfect for a more modern, black and white designed bathroom.

The concept is to provide a visual screening of the exposed roll while also providing an easier way to tear off some paper. Over all the aesthetics are clean. It is a pretty minimal design with little to no embellishment. Easy to mount hardware. Matte black is clean and modern. Not sure how we will like the screen flap long term, but willing to try it.

The metal flap, also chrome is a nice touch and is actually a practical and aesthetically pleasing addition. Easy to follow instructions, anyone could mount this. All hardware and tool supplied in the box. Well packaged with double cloth bags to protect the finish in shipping. All aspects were just very well thought out for a quality product that will not disappoint!

It is very well made, very heavily built using what appears to be moulded/machined metal or brass and has a very solid attachment to the wall. Needed a holder that fit snug to the wall due to minimum available space in the small bathroom and this one with nice chrome paper cover really fits the bill. I love it and the upscale look that it gives my small bathroom.

It was so easy for me to install and I love that the way it holds the toilet paper in place. You don’t just have put paper rolling all over the place with this exact holder. If you don’t want the every day toilet paper holder, I would definitely suggest that you try this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s pretty hard to get excited over a toilet paper holder. However, in this case you can. The mat black finish stands out in a way that is unique and stunning. The flap that comes down over the paper is a nice touch and makes for a nice appearance. The holder is made of a nice weight metal that is indicative of the quality of the manufacturing. I would recommend screwing this directly into a stud and not using drywall anchors. The orientation of the two holes makes it challenging to get both screws into the stud but at least try to get one screw into wood.

The biggest advantage of a paper holder like this, for our home anyway, is our Siamese cat can no longer unroll the paper. There is one thing I wish was different, that I could change the orientation of the holder, so the roll slides on from the other side.

This was really easy to install. It even allows for almost a 1/2 inch repositioning to either right or left. I didn't use the anchors that it came with though, instead I chose the ez drywall anchors for most wall installations (they're really easy to use; they dont require pre drilling which makes for a very reliable & firm installation). I mean, I'm a girl and I was able to install it in 20 min. The TP holder looks beautiful and very high end. This was the perfect compromise between the Hansgrohe that I originally wanted to get (to match the shower head I have) that was waaaay too expensive at $69 & the Glacier Bay Dorset I bought at the store that was so light and flimsy that the box it came in was heavier than the ring itself. The price is still affordable, it has great manufacturing, light enough so it doesn't damage your walls and heavy enough to feel substantial in your hands & withstand lots of wear and tear. In all, extremely happy with it. I bought the matching towel ring & towels bars and they look equally elegant. This collection feels and looks expensive unlike most chrome accessories these days.

It is obvious that this design for a toilet roll holder is way more hygienic than the standard exposed toilet roll holder. An added plus is that it really looks classy. Excellent construction, easier to install than the old fashioned design. And it's affordable.

We already had bright stainless fixtures, so we wanted to finish it. The build quality is great and solid. I liked the way it’s covered, which creates protection as well as a way to cut the TP when needed. Good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who would've thought a toilet paper holder could be elegant? But.. Here we are. The chrome finish is a beautiful accent and the piece itself is actually quite heavy. So I know that it won't fall apart like the cheap plastic holders. The metal flap provides not only a cover for hiding the roll of paper, but a convenient edge to ensure only the piece(s) of toilet paper that you want to remove are removed. Installation was very simple and straightforward. The only critique I have is the drywall anchors included with the kit are very flimsy and cheap. They have very little teeth to bite into the drywall and just rotate freely once installed. This makes the mount for the holder feel loose and wobbly. It is possible to drill into wood with the screws provided but I was replacing a holder and didn't want to create a new area to install the new one. Overall though, definitely a worthy addition for a modern feel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item has nice sleek and modern lines. I like the chrome finish, easy to clean but fingerprints do show up. Downside is the poor instructions that came with it. Picture only instructions are not helpful in the case of this item. I am a DIYer, but previous experience helped me figure out how to install this item. Other downside is that if you want to do the install using a special glue to attach it to the wall, that is NOT included but is available at extra expense (a bad choice on Lixil's part) In my case I used this t-paper dispenser in my basement bathroom, where the wall is brick, and the glues install is the best option for its location. So, I went ahead and used a Liquid nails brand glue. So far it is holding, only time will tell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful, and very well built toilet paper holder. The Starlight Chrome Finish matches beautifully with my other Grohe fixtures. I wouldn't have thought a toilet paper holder could make a difference. But it does!

Nice toilet paper holder and great price. Finish is comparable to other more expensive holders. Unfortunately the plastic that holds the flap and handle is not sturdy, I had to replace that part so that it remained in place. Apart of that, it is a good piece.

Great Paper Holder. I reversed the back plate to be behind the paper to add resistance to the paper so you can tear it with one hand... like I saw over in the Netherlands when we were there. Love it.

Easy to install. Excellent fit and finish. Great price at Home Depot.

Beautifully chromed toilet paper holder withhold-down plate puts style into something that rarely gets it, but is used by everyone, every day. Easy to install, easy to load paper, easy on the eyes.
